I submit that may be because both the House and the Senate in a very real sense, rank with the world’s most exclusive clubs. In any event, it will always be the major political party that decides who it is that will follow the Pres and VP in the line of succession, so it may make little difference.
Someone such as Trump, with his negotiating background, connections, financial history, etc., who set his mind to it could make it happen in the normal course or otherwise. Re the normal course, he is high in the polls and could easily step around any troublesome rules that may exist requiring one to be a senior senator.
On another plane, how unlikely is it that Oprah with her $’s could become Commissioner of the NBA if she so desired?

Sarah Palin is under attack 27/7 by the media. I’m sure that her advisers have convinced her that if she took a”birther” stance the media would politically kill her. I beleive that is true.
Trump , on the other hand is not afraid of the media, if he is pushed ,he will push back harder.
We need someone like Trump to get us out of the mess obama has got us into.
You know, maybe Trump just now DID decide to go after this. I mean — he of course, had heard of the issue, but w/ his show, his business, etc. — he just didn’t have the time or inclination to investigate - until now.
And if he truly uncovered it — the country would be worshiping at his feet (at least most of the country). I doubt he’d just had over all that power and prestige to Hillary.
I think he’s in it for himself only. Too large of an ego not to be.
I just worry a bit about that large ego. It’s fun to watch when he’s on your side ...but I wouldn’t want to be on the other side of it, if I were battling him on some huge social issue.
I wish him well, however, in his pursuits. If he uncovered the loser’s BC and got him kicked out of office, we’d need to erect a bronze statue of him on our National Mall.
Because somebody has already been to Kenya and Obama has spent millions in taxpayer dollars to help his cousin Raila Odinga (for whom he illegally campaigned and contributed while he was a US Senator) fulfill the bargain he made with the Kenyan Muslims if they would agree to vote and/or riot/rampage for him so he could get in power: to institute sharia in Kenya.
So even if they have records in Kenya, the only way they will see the light of day is through bribery and that’s already allegedly been tried - and nobody will take it seriously.
The law-breaking and crimes are largely being done in Hawaii (as well as every other government agency that supposedly has records for obama). That is where the evidence of the crimes would be and it’s where the claimed birth certificate would be found to NOT exist.
As far as Chief Justice Roberts - I’d like to remind you that this is supposed to be America, where a judge decides a CASE based on evidence presented in court, not Iran, where matters of life and death are decided on a whim by mere “judge’s knowledge”. Roberts doesn’t “know” anything about Obama’s origins unless and until evidence is presented to him in court - which none of them will allow to be done.
If this is truly a country under the rule of laws and not of men, then it doesn’t matter one bit what Roberts or anybody else “believes” about Obama’s origins. What matters is the right to get a LEGAL answer to a LEGAL controversy, and that has never happened. Has never been allowed to happen. And anybody who doesn’t recognize that as a problem needs to go back to Iran where they belong.
Oh, I think they understand.
That’s why they attack low cost energy, low taxation and regulation.

I think he donates to both parties. He never donated to Odupma but he did donate to Hillary and McCain. SO I think he wants the Halfrican Muslim OUT which is fine with me. If that’s his goal, I share it.
