While millions of outraged Americans protest what they see as a lawless and power-mad Obama administration, many wonder how much clout individuals can really have in reining in a wildly out-of-control government.
But suppose, in addition to citizens with little power beyond their vote, those standing up to the federal government were named Virginia, Texas, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Montana, Maine, South Dakota and many more?
Incredibly, though under-reported by the establishment press, that's exactly what is happening right now, as the April issue of Whistleblower documents in-depth, in "STATES OF REBELLION: How legislators and governors nationwide are openly challenging a rogue president."

Question for the libs - if Bush was bad in all of his policies, why did the states not act similarly to stop his alleged malfeasance and bad policy, like so many are willing to do for Obama?
Why do the news organizations never report the level of disagreement with Pharaoh Obama?
Takes 3/4 of States to really ‘shut down’ the government.
Are we there yet?
Ya think they might have time from their busy schedules to deal with the endless, epic country killing, violent invasion of our country?
I’m a Virginian, and I approve of this message.
Good find, thanks.

Actually a damn good question
Ran across this somewhere... Thought you might like to see

The big issue with what liberals hated about what Bush was doing(as apposed to Not doing) was foreign policy. In that legitimate area of Federal policy there is little to nothing our states can do about it.
As far as Bush’s domestic policy many states did resist (with success) many things like Real ID and no-child left behind. the problem with such resistance on bush’s domestic policy is in areas of non-action their State has always been perfectly free to raise their own taxes and pay for whatever repressive wealth redistribution program they want.
In the other areas of Federal action as mentioned they did resist with some success, and not exactly alone. A great many conservatives at the State level joined them. Its one thing to disagree with their reason for resisting Federal intrusion. Regardless of the merits of the policy it is not the Federal government’s right to impose it.
For example: I don’t have a real problem with drug laws, I have a problem with the Federal Government trying to impose intrastate drug laws.
classic .. just a classic
Har! What’s that smell!?!?!?

Aha! Pharoah Tootinbama. Explains the flies ;^)
...and for that matter, if you DO get on over to StrangePolitics.com some day, you might even see one or two Seadogbytes originals as well, while you're there...LOL!
LOL! ...Don’t get me started. It’s late already.
Actually, while it didn't go anywhere, libs WERE discussing this very option under W, since it's not treason when THEY want to do it. (It's humorous to see the reactions now from the same common taters who were discussing the idea in all seriousness then.)
I kind of hoped they would. I fully believe in the labs of democracy concept, and limiting federal power can only be good for all of us. An exactly even level of tyranny nationwide, either through expansion of federal power or intentional harmonization of state laws allows more government intrusion than if the states are kept in competition with each other to be the least intrusive and therefore home to the productive.
Even if they end up different to cater to people at different points on the self reliance spectrum from "F off and die" to "911, could you send someone out to tie my shoes", that's OK. It'd keep the sheeple out of OUR states, so we don't have to see them, talk to them, or support them with our taxes.
