Helicopter parenting and entitled and non-self-sufficient kids do not make Communists. They just make apathetic uninformed deadbeats.

Fox News’ Glenn Beck revealed that he was diagnosed with macular dystrophy and could go blind within the next year.

Funny how the libs don’t leave their religion at the door when they enter the fight but we are supposed to?

I don't know. I've never seen a liberal with their own TV show on Oral Roberts or Jan and Pauls' Trinity Broadcasting Network, Have you?

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

Have you talked to anyone under thirty lately? Most of them are apathetic uninformed deadbeats, not militant communists. They want mommy and daddy to help them wipe, not secretly plotting the overthrow of society.

That “plan” you quoted has only succeeded in making a generation full of sheep, not a generation full of bomb-throwing Lenin clones.

It’s too much about him and not enough about current events.

You mean like Rush? Like Hannity? Like O'Reilly?

I do not like O'Reilly.

Hannity's a rehash of Rush Limbaugh.

My favorites are Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh because they are politics all the time no spiritual.

And I'll bet... let me change the channel here right now to see what Glenn's talking about...3..2..1.. Glenn Beck at 10:48am

"I didnt deserve the job. I hired.... the reason why I hied him... we were 30 days into the CNN deal... I had just completed an aweful show on cnn... I listen to my gut... the sponsor this half hour..."

By this time Rush would be 2 hours into ripping the democrats.

Nice little apples and oranges argument. they bring Earth Worship into their political argument all the time. Ever hear of global warming? While we leave God in the closet, don’t want to offend any atheists.

I take that as conceding that Glenn Beck did indeed use a news channel in a time slot where people prefer tune in to watch political pundits fighting instead of hearing about the word of God and salvation before the end and you blame Soros for that?

Here are the current ratings. Beck show is far from “sinking”

Glenn Beck just opened up on his radio show about his future.

First of all, it sounds like Fox News wanted him to stay with his hourly tv program.

Secondly, Beck sounded like he was burned out and he wanted out. But it is more than that. Glenn Beck suffers from ADD or ADHD and he was tiring out of doing the show everyday.

But that isn’t the only reason that Glenn is departing his daily hourly show on Fox News. He said that the show isn’t enough to get his message out. He is going in a direction that will make even Fox News cringe. He mentioned arguing over shows with staff.

He then felt that he was saying things already that put the network into problems and into situations that he felt uncomfortable putting them in. He then also felt that he might be saying too much if he went in the direction he is wanting to go. Basically, Beck said he has come to feel differently about the direction he wanted to take the tv show then he had in 2009 when he started the show.

Beck made it clear the radio show continues and that there is still no final date set for the TV show. Fox News might keep him a while, it is up to them when the final show airs on tv. Glenn wants to honor the original contract that he signed. As such I read it expired in December, but Glenn also wanted to jump in an sign a new deal early.

Glenn also wanted to do other things. He was unhappy with the constraints that working for Fox News put him. He had to do the tv show when they wanted and he had to work the hours they wanted him to. But Beck has his own media company and he wants to expand it. In fact, he was reluctant to have ever done a tv show to begin with. It took a lot of convincing and what helped was him having issues he wanted to bring to an audience of people who did not ever see him or that he felt needed his message of Libertarian and conservative issues.

He quickly realized that when the original show began, Headline News where it was at, was not enough to get a type of audience he wanted. He felt that CNN was not letting him talk about what he wanted. So he quickly turned down an offer to stay at CNN/HLN and he moved to Fox News, which had been courting him.

But he seems to have burned out of Fox News. In fact he said he needed more help running the tv programs than he was getting from Fox News. He had to bring on people that he paid for out of pocket through his media group to help with research and with the program.

But to make clear he isn’t actually leaving Fox News. He will do other things at Fox News. Maybe appear on shows like his Fox and Friends appearances, do documentaries and specials, and other things he won’t open up about. What he is doing is ending the tv show. But that is all has said. He didn’t say about what Fox News was planning to do to replace him. Sounded like Fox News, might need time to figure it out.

Also to make clear, he stated he is headed in a direction that will be head scratching to the idiots in the lame stream media. He said he would love to get more youth to hear his message. He hired S.E. Cupp to do a daily show online for that purpose of attracting younger people.

He then said the media lies about him and his show. He did not lose advertisers in mass on the TV show. Nobody has 400 advertisers. He also wasn’t fired by Fox News as Good Morning America claimed today. He also wasn’t brought down by the Republican party and he had full support of Roger Ailes.

But Glenn has a new direction he wants to go and wants out of Fox News. However, he still wants to help Fox News out. So he was grappling for months about what to do. That is why he started The Blaze. He felt he needed to bankroll a news site to help expose the real news. That is why he started beefing up his Mercury media staff and started a revamped Insider Extreme and website this past year.

So Glenn basically sounded like he has “stuff” he wants to do and a direction he wants to go up his sleeve.

Who cares, if you want to watch straight news fine, some of us like to talk about morality and how this Counrty was based on Biblical Principles. He has carved out a great audience doing that. Atheists simply need to change the channel.

Pray for America

All, I am aware of GB’s standing as #3 in the cable news shows. He is formidable with a caveat. The caveat?

His numbers were/are hemorrhaging.

I have worked closely with people who are in the industry. Trust me, shows are cut off almost ALWAYS because of ratings.

It appears after last night's news that the Mormons will simply need to change the channel now.

I rest my case

Roger that! I disconnected mine when I went to IP phone. Use wireless in the house so all of the hard line jacks are just wall decorations now.

I’m not sure how you came to that intimate knowledge of His tear size.

I can tell you that those who have not accepted him as their Savior are soon going to find out what kind of REAL manly authority He wields.
