FAIRLESS Hills, PA At an event at a Spanish windmill firm in Pennsylvania, President Obama suggested Americans consider selling their gas guzzlers for more fuel efficient cars. The president chided one questioner, saying: "If you're complaining about the price of gas and you're only getting 8 miles a gallon, you know, you might want to think about a trade-in."

And when the president told the person to think about a trade-in, what did he have in mind? Did he want the person to buy a Chevy Volt? Is Obama being a salesman for General Motors in some way????
Real news from this president just gets worse and worse. I certainly hope the sentient part of the country’s voters can’t stomach his ineptitude in 2012.
Ha, you got that right.
I want to trade in our current model for a new one in Fall 2012.
you might want to think about a trade-in.
Oh, Obama is such a riot - what a comedian - he is almost as funny as Al Frankin. But, come to think of it, we ARE thinking of a trade in and it isn’t our cars, mr. funny man!
Forty-four thou for a Chevy cruze!
Get ready for Cash for Clunkers, Part Deux.
What cars get 8 MPG these days?
We just got back from a Caribbean cruise.
There are a sh*tload of windmills on Aruba.
The day we got there the wind was blowing like crazy and NONE of them were turning, LOL.
A-freaking-MEN to that.
Isn't that what Michelle made Barry do with his Chrysler 300 pimpmobile when the Kennedy's annointed him the next big thing ? the "fifth Kennedy brother"??
He can’t lose with the press actively providing cover for him.
Nascar with a restrictor plate?
Most large trucks (18 wheelers) get about 5 mi. / gal.
If their fuel costs go up, so do the prices for the goods they haul. If you have it, a truck brought it.
Those with cars that get 8 mpg don’t drive them.
They leave them in the garage and polish them once in a while, and maybe take them out on really nice days for a spin.
