Washington (CNN) – Self-proclaimed birther Donald Trump is now so doubtful of President Obama's birthplace that he's sent a team of his own investigators to Hawaii in hopes of getting to the bottom of the issue.
That's according to Trump himself, who, in an interview with NBC, warned his investigators just might uncover "one of the greatest cons in the history of politics and beyond."
"I have people that have been studying it and they cannot believe what they're finding," Trump said an interview that aired Thursday Morning.
Asked if he has assigned people specifically to search in Hawaii, Trump said, "Absolutely." The business mogul, who in a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll is tied for second place among potential presidential candidates, also suggested the president is involved in an ongoing cover-up over the matter.
"He spent $2 million in legal fees trying on to get away from this issue, and if it weren't an issue, why wouldn't he just solve it?" he said. "I wish he would because if he doesn't, it's one of the greatest scams in the history of politics and in the history, period. You are not allowed to be a president if you're not born in this country. Right now, I have real doubts."

What we have always had here is blantent failure of the ‘Lamestream Media’ to vet this guy. They were/are so ‘in the tank’ for him that they didn’t even do a cursory background check and now if it is found out beyond a doubt that Obama is a ‘Manchurin Candidate’ they will all be thrown into the same catogory as Dam Rather and the ‘Lamestream Media’ will be kicked so far to curb that they will never recover. They know this and believe me they fear it.

Absolutely. If this is “one of the greatest cons in the history of politics and beyond”, for the ‘Lamestream Media’ it will certainly be the greatest blunder and Kool-Aid of all time (as would said Kanye West...).
I call Bravo Sierra. No one, whether a private Investigator or not, regardless of the money one has, can access the confidential records of the birth registry without Obama’s consent. If he successfully bribes someone, then it would not likely have very much provenance or credibility.
Everything else dances around the periphery and will not be the best evidence. Better to send them to Ken ya to interview the family and others who would know him, as well as to check out and finally vet the entire history of the guy as promoted by his minions.

Lord knows, Trump’s no paragon of credibility. However . . . there’s so much to investigate that I doubt he’ll turn up empty-handed. There’s not only Obama’s birth but his history, his lineage. Stanley Dunham’s past. The newspapers’ birth-announcement anomalies. O’s visit to Oahu 6 weeks before the election. And Hawaii couldn’t be more corrupt or inept. Even if Trump fails to come up with answers, he’s very likely to turn up many more questions.

Good start, but he did not seal them, I believe, as they are confidential by law without action being taken. Don’t know the ins and outs of HI law, but it would be worth a dollar to even have a reporter pose the question, wouldn’t it?
