Indiana GOP Rep. Mike Pence says he is not likely to support the compromise brokered Friday between Congress and the President Barack Obama, Politico reports.
From what I know, it sounds like John Boehner got a good deal, Pence said Sunday on ABCs This Week, adding that the cuts were probably not good enough for me to support it.

If it's a good deal, why won't he support it? Very weird.
He sounds like Bachmann. That's not a compliment.
Obama couldn't get his 2011, Stimulus and TARP baselined, ~$3.7 trillion (with a ~$1.5 trillion deficit) budget passed by a Democrat congress. So now the same budget, 1% lower and"negotiated" by a Republican majority, is supposed to be "a good deal"?
The GOP is an incoherent mess. Bachmann has been sounding the same way. We need to make a deal and once we do, I won’t support it. Sounds like POLITICS to me.
Because he's being politically correct. He really thinks the deal sucks.
The Tea Party needs to take names and take a close look at everyone they worked for and donated to. Those not doing what they promised to get elected have got to be replaced in 2012. If we can’t trust them to put the country first, they need to be sent home, IMO.
Mark Levin exposed what a joke Boehner’s games are on Cauvot’s show.
Freepers involved with The Tea Party please take note and bring this up at your next meeting.
Pretty wishy-washy in my view.
“If it’s a good deal, why won’t he support it? Very weird.”
—I think he’s trying to be polite, under the circumstances.
An aside: Does John pay benefits to pimp the Deal on Conservative sites, or is it just a flat-fee-per-word kind of agreement?...
I disagree with your opinion.
I think it sounds like he is afraid of his House leadership, and he thinks that the deal is bad.
It's more than that with the other previous CR's.
This was not really about the money...it was about negotiating power.
Boehner came out looking like he very well have more of that, which portends well for Ryan's trillions in cuts ahead. That's why people are happy. We haven't won yet, but we're on the right track.
You’re an idiot. Where have I celebrated the budget deal? Answer: Nowhere. So shut your sphincter, dope, or else go into a private stall before opening it. The smell of what comes out is offensive.
This is the plight of the politician who isn’t willing to call out subversive elements in his own party. “It’s a great deal! I won’t vote for it!”
And I will remind everybody that there was no "cut" relative to the 2010 budget. The only thing cut was a small amount of money from Obama's failed budget proposal.
In fact, this deal increases the budget and the budget defict relative to the stimulus soaked 2010 budget.
If Boehner needs Pence’s vote this week, Pence will vote for the compromise.
LOL, because he knows the so called cuts are not real. And he got his ass in a crack supporting amnesty with jorge bush.
