With fighting intensifying between Israel and Palestinian militants in Gaza, the Arab League on Sunday announced plans to ask the UN to impose a no-fly zone over Gaza.

The IAF already imposes a no fly zone over Gaza.
Problem solved.
There is but one country in the world that might be able to impose a no-fly zone against the IAF: the United States. Even under zero and her thighness, I can’t imagine they would do that. The American people overwhelmingly support Israel, and I suggest that goes double when it comes to defending themselves against that pit of vipers called Gaza.
All the other countries out there are not going to risk their aircraft in a confrontation with the IAF. It would be a suicide mission for most of them and most of the other countries don’t have big quantities of first-line fighters to waste on Israeli target practice. And that goes double for the Arab league states and most of their European lap dogs.
How shocking! Not.
I’d pay good money to see a UN ‘air force’ try to enforce that against the IDF.
I’d pay good money to see Israel rebuff this request by stating they will shoot down any plane from any nation that attempts to impose a no fly zone over THEIR territory!
Why do I feel like everything I was taught as a kid in Sunday School is coming true?
