There are several intangibles involved with Obama that have never applied before to the same extent. The most crucial is the MSMs devotion to him. Once we get closer to the election, the Obama is our Savior hype machine will crank up again to overdrive. At the same time, the GOP contender, whoever it turns out to be, will be pilloried every day as an extremist. Then there will be the vote for Obama or you are a racist campaign. Also, it is necessary to consider the cetain fraud and intimidation well see on poll day and the fact that 95% or more of blacks are certain to vote for him again no matter how bad things get and at a high turnout. All of this adds up to probably around 10%.

What you say makes sense and certainly helps explain how Obama won the presidency in 2008. But the problem Obama will have in 2012 is he will actually have a *record* of a disasterous four year presidency that he, the Democrat party, and the state-run media will have to try to defend. While I don’t doubt that some unhappy voters may hold their nose and vote for him as “the lesser of two evils” in 2012, I don’t think there will be enough of them to offset the rise of the Tea Party and wave of anger and rage against an administration that has launched a transparent all-out assault against individual freedom and capitalism. No amount of hype will be able to fool the masses into once again believing that Obama is a messiah because his record of incompetency, lawlessness, recklessness, destruction, and lack of leadership has long destroyed that image. He no longer has the luxury of being an “empty slate” presidential candidate that allows voters to create idealistic fantasies about what he can be like. We now know who this fool really is... an empty suit!
The motivation is keeping a black man in power. That's strong enough. He's not going to lose blacks in large numbers.
Yes we did!!

Probably the last two, for sure.
I agree he’ll be down out of the 2008 stratosphere, but remember, he has a very low bar to cross with voters. As opposed to most other presidents who actually needed to have something to show for their efforts, 0bama only needs to appear to be trying to solve problems.
Come on... statistical noise plus several other polls had him at 42% for two weeks... actually your one point change proves what I said... 1 point in a 3.5% plus or minus poll (I do not even believe that margin) means absolutely nothing... just like boehner’s spending cuts. Either he has a solid suport base of 42% or scotty and all other polsters are lying.

Sure they will...but there won't be nearly as many of them this time thinking Obama's going to give them free washing machines and cars.
Plus Obama got something like only a 5% win over McCain. How's he going to do an even fund-raising playing field now that the Repub candidate won't take public funds?
And unrestricted soft money? We shall see.
Tail wagging the dog. Obama may not be a good leader, but he's definitely a reliable "Tailer."
Got it. I thought your reference point was yesterday's Ras poll.
Put the cap back on the tube of model glue and you will cease having these irrational thoughts.

I was speaking of how the media is playing us all or how America is truly that messed up. I am beginning to think that America has about 42 to 45% of voters that are flat out marxist rubes and are so stupid and lazy that they do not even realize it. 2012 will tell us all that we need to know. Scary stuff.

You have to give The Donald some credit for Obama taking a dive in the polls. Trump is not going to let up. He will be slagging Obama each and every day until he announces he is running. Then he’ll keep doing it
Trump’s strategy is to take Obama down more than a few notches. To destroy the public’s respect for him. To make him into the Emperor who is wearing no cloths. God bless you Mr TRump!
No need for the blacks and minorities to disown Obama. It will be enough if they don't show up to vote for him.... which is what will happen. Black/Spanish turnout for Obama will be pitiful compared to 2008
There are a number of Hillary supporters who are still angry at Obama for what they feel was bad treatment towards their candidate from 2008. Many of these people will never support Obama and some would support Gov. Palin.
I know people like this (although admittedly, not well). Further proof....Go to http://hillbuzz.org/
