The media is working real hard to crown a RINO nominee for us.

I'm not (necessarily) saying the poll is worthless, but they only interviewed 385 people. How in the world of statistics, is that a reliable sample-size, given we're a country of over 300M?

Not a surprise in just a short time. The Repub party puts themselves in a box when taking on the Dems. Trump has rejected the box and threw it away.

Trump on the issues.

Just to put it in comparison, here is Rudy's policy chart.

..and Bill Clinton's chart

From ontheissues.org He is way closer to Bill Clinton than he is someone we all agree is a RINO. Heck, on a straight right/left paradigm, he is almost identical to Bill Clinton.

The Obama WH (CNN is simply an extension of it) knows it needs both Huckabee and Trump to run to take Palin down. Romney is seen more of a nuisance than anything else.

Guess it couldn’t be due to his attention to the “non issue” of Obama’s nativity story... Or so says Beck/BOR/Coulter/Greta/etc

When has CNN been a reliable source for conservative opinion? Where did they poll, the south side of Chicago?

I don't know what to think.

On the one hand, I fear the media has wised up to their pick for the GOP of Romney as not being realistic and has embraced Trump instead.

On the other hand, Trump is saying what I want to hear. And I think he has the skills to be a good President. Specifically, he has recognized where some of the trade probems are and talked tough on it. He has recognized the importance of cheap energy to the economy. He has recently come out against gay marriage, and against abortion. And he has also come out as a Christian saying that Christianity and only Christianity is the way.

I guess my concern comes from Trump's casinos and Trump having supported Hillary, and democrats and Hillarycare in the past.

I'd like to see clarification on where he thinks healthcare should go. And I'm not convinced that this embracement of conservative social values is real and not just a political move.

Still, someone who talks the talk, is more likely to walk the walk than someone who doesn't even talk it.

So here’s a “what if” scenario. Trump’s folks discover the smoking gun that has the bulk of the Nation saying, ‘My gosh, the King doesn’t have any clothes on.” So now Trump needs to think about who the alternative Rat would be and how he’d play against them.

Trump will be the nominee and our next President.

He will take the alien usurper out.

He will be a better President than Jorge Bush.

BS...I’ll vote in the primaries against him. No doubt. This poll can only be accurate for those under a rock.

Trump is not the problem....the problem is that the GOP and GOP Media has moved left.

When I hear someone like Sean Hannity defend Islamic Terrorists...as he did last week over a Christian pastor (the Terry Jones Koran burning)....I know the GOP and GOP Media is no longer conservative

Trump hit a nerve with the Obama Birth Certificate and Eligibility issue...and if the GOP and GOP Media does not go after Obama on this, they will be slaughtered in 2012.

Time for the GOP and GOP Media to get conservative....or the real conservatives will be gone.

Stop whining about Trump....run a real conservative. Trump is gaining because all the potential GOP candidates (except Bachmann) are RINOs and Liberals
