If you wonder whether Donald Trump is serious about running for president, tune in to the finale of “The Celebrity Apprentice” on May 15.
Trump plans to say on the NBC show that he will be holding a press conference in the next few days. At that press conference in the Trump Tower in New York, Trump will be announcing his candidacy for the presidency.
Even then, many will snicker that it’s all a publicity stunt. But that defies the facts and common sense.
Of all the people on the planet, Donald Trump is the last person who needs more publicity. And if he is riding a groundswell of support, why would he—or anyone else—decide not to run?
Since writing the first story in January to report that Trump will definitely run, I have been amazed at how much the idea of a Trump presidency is catching on across the political spectrum. As I wrote in my story, Don’t Underestimate Donald Trump for President, he can be outrageous and boastful. But when it comes to a successful run at the presidency, don’t count him out.

Well Romney may be in the same boat as Obama..... I’m not sure his father George was ever officially a legal citizen of the USA.
Romney’s father was nicknamed Chihuahua George because he was born in a Morman colony in Chihuahua, Mexico....... Does not say weather he was a Citizen of US when Mitt was born????
Romney’s his father George did have a problem when he tried to Run for President in 1968 against Nixon I think!

Sounded like the family lived a long time in the Mormon Community in Mexico to get away from US because Polygamy was not accepted in US .....Did they give up US Citizenship & when did the Grandfather repatriate?
His grandfather & his many wives abandoned the US because they did not accept Polygamy!! To me this says: we don’t agree with the USA; so, we left..... How do you just walk back over the Border with children born in Mexico??

I heard on a radio show that he believes in single payer health insurance (just like Obama) and wants to tax wealth, not income but WEALTH.
Maybe we can get his book at the library to find out what this is all about, cuz I won’t recommend buying his book.
I agree with him. We should tax wealth not income. I have always thought that.
Tax “Wealth?” Hmmmm....that means the likes of Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, etc would not be able to hide behind their tax accountants and tax attorneys....they don’t show much income....which is how things are taxed now....which is why the Middle class is paying a lot more of their income in taxes while the “wealthy” don’t....not that I want them taxed more....but, some honesty in what’s going on would be good.
He could win the nomination because the field is so incredibly weak. He may ruin Romney’s chances; so that alone would be useful. None of the other contenders have any apparent backbone on much of anything. Backbone could be the sleeper issue for 2012.

I’m almost starting to think this web site has a bunch a government hacks on here pretending their conservative in order to keep the majority of us divided??? I hear absolute venom and hate for Trump going after Obama on the birth issue (just like the radical Leftist in the media nd press....hmmmmm????).
Like I wrote earlier candidates I do not support for president, say Newt, I still support them when he goes after Obama. I never attack a fellow Republican when he is going after Obama. That ALONE should raise immediate suspicion on who we are dealing with. All you have to do is look at their previous posts a few pages deep to get an idea of who this so called conservative...
One more thing to remember when you are on top, like Trump, then everyone is shooting for you. I’m just surprised how many so called conservatives are mad at Trump for pointing out the obvious about Obama’s birth!??
