I’m not criticizing anyone’s opinions about her voice, but I just don’t understand how it is more irritating than any other woman’s voice, if you listen. Please advise. I would really like to understand this criticizm.

What about shoulder pads to square off the curves a little,,,like in the 80s? Would that help too? And some of those ugly scarves and broaches,, WOW, you are sooooo gonna make her electable by making her look like a hospital administrator or a lawyer.

Here’s a puzzle,, lets say she suddenly fakes that business look that the north American shorthairs so admire. What will be the INSTANT and predictable reaction? Hint,,, it won’t be that those who currently do not, will suddenly say shes awesome.

For a small example,, look at the election. She didn’t own a wardrobe sufficient to be the freakin headliner at massive rallies for 100 days. So the campaign bought it. And everyone bitched incessantly, (meanwhile, Michelle Obama in the black widow dress is continually lauded as the style queen of America)

Mittens is at The Villages tonight for a sit down dinner/fundraiser. Trump and Allen West do a tea party Saturday in Boca.

She sounds shrill.

It's a combination of the accent and the tone of her voice.

Thatcher, Hillary Clinton, & other female politicians have worked behind the scenes with vocal coaches.

Palin should as well.

This thread started out discussing the fact that Sarah is rallying with tea partiers at the main battlefield in taking back America.
It’s degenerated into a bunch of jealous wife comments about her hair and voice.

Maybe Sarah will inspire more wives to step up their game and copy her look. On to threads dedicated to 2012,, rather than hair.

didn’t Palin get 70,000 to come to her speech at the villages. I wonder how many will go see Mitt.

I don't believe how she wears her hair would determine her electability but I agree with your wife and like it when it's worn up or tacked back. At least she hasn't a ‘Pelosi’. I'd rather see a gal totally shaved than if she sported a ‘Pelosi’.

I wholeheartedly agree. I think, in our society, too many people pay more attention to how someone looks/sounds than what they say/do. That’s how we got Obama.

It’s taken a long time and lots of money to shape minds that way.

AP: Sarah Palin is set to attend a tea party rally in Madison this weekend.

The former Alaska governor is set to speak at the tea party’s annual tax day rally Saturday at the state Capitol. The rally is designed to correspond with the day taxes are due.

The event is scheduled to begin at noon.

"It turns millions of average people off instantly."

And you know this how? I happen to like her voice but unlike yourself I haven't spoken with millions of others about it in order to gauge their opinion.

Conventional Wisdom had it that Kloppy would defeat Justice Prosser in a landslide because of anger against Gov Walker and the strength of the unions in money and their get out the vote efforts. Only one prominent national Republican, only one, came out with a public endorsement for Justice Prosser.

That one is, Sarah Palin.

“The Wisconsin Democratic Party, still stinging over Gov. Scott Walker’s divisive collective bargaining law, said in a statement that Palin and Walker complement each perfectly because each of them wants to lower wages and benefits for Wisconsin families.”

Yes, Palin had about 70,000 at The Villages. Nobody else came near that number. I think this is a small dinner party for Mitt tonight.
