On WAAM today. Doc Steele noted he has formed an exploratory committee to potentially run against Sen. Debbie Stabenow for that Senate Seat here in Michigan. A Facebook page has been formed as well to Draft him. See the link to the facebook page...

Good. Enough of Stabenow. Levin needs replacing, too.

Hot damn.
He gave Dingellberry a heck of a fight considering the late start. This has gotta make the cow constipated.

Steele is an example of a loss that wasn’t quite a total loss. He cost the democrats and unions a lot more money than they should have had to spend.

And seats.... at the state and local level I think a total of 9. And Dingell and the DNC spent a fortune. Dingell won, but what?
* He is in the Minority
* He lost his Chairmanship
The question begs, is he the king of nothing...

I haven’t heard who else is considering, have you?

The only name I’ve heard floated is John Engler.
He would give Big Debbie a run for her money but I prefer Steele. Besides, Engler says he isn’t running.

About last January I was getting the robo-calls from some state organization asking my preference of the names listed to run against Stabenow. I don’t remember them all, but those I do were John Engler, Mike Bishop, Pete Hoekstra, Terri-Lynn Land and another I had never heard of. Steele wasn’t listed.
To: kevslisababy
I voted for Hoekstra for governor in the primary but I still prefer Steele over the names listed.

From a personal source close to John. He will not run. He would not want the pay cut. And he likes what he is doing.

I think that Steele is going to run. It’s possible that Saul Anuzis will run and he has personal wealth to draw upon.

"Pete Hoekstra may run also."
Hoekstra ruled himself out a month or 2 ago.
As to Saul Anuzis, please no.

A source close to John says he will not run. He would have to take a pay cut and feels he is too old.
