Study: 70% of Texas' illegal immigrant families receive welfare

Thirteen years after Congress overhauled the American welfare system, 57 percent of immigrants with children — those in the country legally or not — use at least one government, welfare program... .

In comparison, 39 percent of native-born Americans with children are signed up for welfare, the report found.

In Texas,.... 70 percent of illegal immigrants receive welfare assistance, with illegal immigrants generally receiving benefits on behalf of their U.S.-born children

Overall, Texas tied with California and New York for the second highest immigrant welfare rates behind Arizona.

Texas showed 61 percent of households headed by an immigrant utilizing at least one program compared to the 42 percent of Texas natives on welfare.

"This is partly due to the large share of immigrants with low levels of education and their resulting low incomes —

Illegal immigrants with children primarily use food assistance programs and Medicaid, with little or no cash or housing assistance.

"Say the name, (for example) 'Women, Infants and Children food program,' are politicians really going to cut this?" Camarota said.

The report showed illegal immigrants primarily use food assistance and Medicaid with little cash or housing assistance

Well, we let them in (sow)

Who is we?

They are Federal Borders and the tax payers are paying them to secure the borders. No?

For years the American people have voted, screamed, protested, wrote letters, passed propositions, tried to sue, and were called vigilantes when they got no relief.

Who is we?

Because Texas, in the early 90s, started offering a 15% pay differential to spanish-speaking government workers... who then took over the bureacracies at every level.

All their school age children get free breakfast and free lunch, and most go to fast food places for “dinner.” Then we worry about this group being obese. Sadly, the only thing that will stop the gravy train they are riding on is a deep, deep depression.

So, if they pass a law requiring proof of citizenship for a welfare cheque, my guess is that this would usher in a great migration back to their homeland, no?

It is time for rounding them up and deporting them.

The US government of course.

We the people. And we continue to let them come.

I guess the vote has gone the way of the whigs.

When it’s all said and done it will be the patriots that save this country. Not a vote or a politician or a judge. Hard or soft the revolution is near.

Aren’t SS numbers required to apply for all welfare?
______________________________________________________

Their American born children all have SS numbers.

It should be illegal to receive benefits on behalf of anyone if you are here illegally. But it isn’t.

Because Texas, in the early 90s, started offering a 15% pay differential to Spanish-speaking government workers... who then took over the bureaucracies at every level.

It's why they promoted Spanish phone menus across the U.S..Press 2 for English.....Government programs endlessly kissing their butts and pandering to them, all while we're forced to pay for millions of them to have more babies as we watch our entire health care system go bankrupt..

All this as millions of Americans are now told they have no health care insurance, because it's become just too expensive....

‘Aren’t SS numbers required to apply for all welfare?”

****
Nope. Worked at a local health dept one summer as a student nurse. All they are required to show is “proof of residence. ...or a utility bill.” All they need to do is to show “proof of pregnancy” and they are literally escorted to the Medicare window to sign up for all the goodies they need to pop out that next anchor child.

Just being a resident ... that’s all they need to show in Fairfax, Arlington counties in Virginia.

These people are members of the North American Union just like we are. They deserve social justice and you can afford it. Get used to it.

And as a bonus the State Department will be injecting New Jersey with thousands of Libyan rebels, who will be put on welfare as soon as they get here.

Still think this is America?

Yeah, I still think this is America, however we are no longer being represented by our government or our representatives... Government has become very corrupt, way too large and spends money like a drunken lotto winner...

The won't control or secure the borders, and then force us to pay for millions of these invaders, to the point it's choking off our entire system.

The controlling government has become uncontrollable.

Well, if they pass a law that would prevent such thievery, and the powers-that-be don’t follow the law, they need to be removed from office. Isn’t there some recourse when the laws are not followed?

And the demonrat party continues to build it’s base.

I guess they figure that the murderous drug cartels just come with the territory. Doesn’t affect them.

To paraphrase Jorge Bush, just doing the welfare scamming Americans won’t do.

Thank you, Jorge.
