Donald Trump's Political 'Pit Bull': Meet Michael Cohen

The man behind Donald Trump's possible 2012 presidential campaign is a registered Democrat who voted for Barack Obama in 2008.

Not only that, but Michael Cohen, an executive at the Trump Organization who doubles as Trump's chief political adviser, once volunteered for 1988 presidential candidate Michael Dukakis and worked for a Democratic member of Congress.

This election cycle is different. Late last year, Cohen co-founded the draft Trump website "Should Trump Run?" It has received more than 830,000 hits.

Cohen, 44, is known around the office -- and around New York -- as Trump's "pit bull." Some have even nicknamed him "Tom," a reference to Tom Hagen, the consigliore to Vito Corleone in the "Godfather" movies.

But since Obama's election in 2008, he said he has grown disappointed with the president, so much so that he now describes himself as "offended" by the administration's agenda. America, Cohen said, has become a "third-world nation," echoing words that have become a familiar refrain of Trump's.

With Trump stoking new speculation about his political ambitions every day, Cohen said "the phones have not stopped ringing, the fax machine is off the hook" and his email inbox is clogged. More than a few of those messages have to do with the issue that has catapulted Trump into the headlines recently -- birtherism.

"I am certain that the president was born in Hawaii -- I really am," Cohen said. "I am most irritated with the fact that this president has been exceptionally secretive when it relates to any personal documentation about his past. If you run on a platform of transparency, you should be transparent."

The more I learn about Trump’s Democrat donations the more I believe that he belongs where he is and definitely not as a candidate for POTUS. He appears to be just another flip-flopping opportunist.

I started out virtually certain Barry was born in HI. I figured the BC either lists an American name for the baby, no father at all, or a father other than Obama Sr. [Any of which, btw, would be devastating to the snake oil salesman who lives and dies by the myth of Dreams. No; he could not recover from that level of deceit, and it’s past time we know just how big the lies he’s been peddling are.]

When Abercrombie came out looking like he’d seen Reagan’s ghost, and admitted he couldn’t find the BC, I started having my first really serious doubts. Now, to be honest, I have No Idea where this fraudster was born. Anybody who claims they are certain of his birthplace is just being a Dem shill. Not enough has been released to know his legal name or his parents’ identity, much less his physical birthplace.

It is criminally arrogant, dishonest, in-your-face dictatorial and smarmy-vile beyond belief, that we have not been permitted to see his original documents. This is what so galls me about the Barry-defenders here on FR. W’out a shred of absolute, certain knowledge, they mock patriotic conservatives who want to get to the bottom of the effeminate marxist who is already so far along in his desired goal-—destroying the US.

So many people, likely fearing ridicule, are so quick to say they are CERTAIN that the president was born in Hawaii. How are they so certain at the same time so many are not certain at all.

There is enough fog around this whole issue that the president should clear it up, once and for all.

I am glad Donald Trump is running for president. I am not any too sure that I would want him to win, but, in his running, he is sure saying a lot of things that only he could get away with saying. That may be the whole plan, who knows?

What you said is the bottom line in a nutshell. Jan Brewer needs to man up, and sign the AZ bill. Even in its weakened state, it must be upping Barry’s tobacco intake by a pack a day. Let’s get the ball rolling, and see what Barry’s enablers come up with next.

And Trump, if he wants any kind of political future, had better have some devastating info to reveal in the not too distant future. I don’t imagine we’ll see anything prior to the end of Apprentice. He said on Rush yesterday there would be a big announcement prior to June. I would anticipate that either before or during that event, Trump will unveil something concrete and extremely damaging. We shall see.

I don't know why the other possible candidates allow Trump to dominate this issue. Originally I was more naive about the birth certificate. As I read more about it my suspicions grew more. I had arrived to the point where I thought maybe his father was foreign born and that's why he's hiding it.

Then I hear that he may have had to attend a meeting in Hawaii with the state election board who could not confirm his eligibility. Nancy Pelosi nearly had a fit. Obama had grown so popular she just knew Obama was the one that could beat McCain so without verifying anything Nancy Pelosi signed two documents confirming Obama as eligible.

Now I hear private investigators have found out that Obama has mulitple social security numbers. One he had gotten in the late 1970s that was issued a few years before to an elderly women (born 1890)in order to get medical benefits. The elderly were especially targeted for SSNs because it's expected they will not live much longer and they will not notice activity on the SSN by anybody else.

1) Why would a legal citizen of the US need not one but several stolen Social Security Numbers? (and yes there were affidavits done on this - up to now the courts have paid no attention)

2) How is it the first President without an Anglo name, known to have grandparents in another country to, is also the first President unable to locate the longform birth certificate thus unable to have documented proof of his birth. I mean, without a longform birth certificate... how does one get ONE social security card (let alone several), and yet this same President who cannot prove his citizenship has been found to be carrying other people's social security numbers.

That is one of The Best summations I have ever seen. There is more stench coming from Barry’s mythological past than from a NYC garbage dump. If we’re not ‘allowed’ to know the truth by ‘12, there will be a major rebellion among conservative voters. If the RNC is smart [they’re not] they’ll do anything it takes to head that off.

Re: the BC scandal. We have a so-called freeper who explained to me there’s nothing wrong with Barry’s CT BC. It’s really a HI BC, but some hapless clerk merely mistyped the first digit. Mystery solved, case closed.
