“I am looking for someone who puts the interest of the Country first in both domestic and foreign policy.”

Every single GOP candidate will do that.

You party people still don't get it. The Tea Party arose because of the Republican parties abandonment of conservatism. Although they were successful in getting some good people elected, the party leadership is still controlled by the elite, effete, big government wusses. Witness Crybaby Boehners complete capitulation to the Dems.

Trump said he would run as an independent if he thought he could get elected over the Republican and democrat candidates. Not likely and he is not stupid. However, if the Republicans run another weakling, and it looks like Trump would have a good chance to beat them and Obama, I would certainly vote for Trump. As of now, Trump is campaigning for the Republican nod. Discussions of third parties are a waste of time.

Republicans who back measures to help illegal aliens at the detriment of American citizens are not putting America first. Republicans who vote to bail out foreign banks with Americans hard earned tax money are not putting Americans first. I could go on for volumes.

The Republican party is a mess because of weak "leaders" who protect their own position by trying not to offend anyone including the Dems. The contrast with Trump could not be more stark, and that's why Trump's popularity is soaring.

Sorry, “Palin Wows Wisconsin Tea Partiers With Blistering Speech; To Obama: ‘You Ignored Us in 2010, You Cannot Ignore Us in 2012’” was deleted at 11:16:36 Sun Apr 17, 2011. We have no more information about it on our mainframe or elsewhere.

“The Tea Party arose because of the Republican parties abandonment of conservatism. “

No, the Tea Party arose in reaction to the fiscal destruction of our country through bailouts, stimulus and other acts of spending money we dont have. It’s not aabout D or R, its about our country. As you saw in the stimulus vote in 2009, when every single R voted no on that - there is a difference between the parties, and the mistakes of some Republicans shouldnt blind to the fact that the Democrats are the one largely driving the bus off the cliff. When I went to the tea Party rally in April 15, 2009, the Democrats owned Washington lock, stock and barrel and thought any opposition to their steamrolling towards socialism was irrelevent. I was pleasantly surprised to see how many people there were at that first big rally, both in our city and nationwide. I knew many at our rally, and most of those people there were and are Republicans and Republican voters. One who was there was our Republican Governor.

Since then, every Tea Party victory has been a Republican candidate. The Tea Party is the spine the GOP sometimes lacks.

“the party leadership is still controlled by the elite, effete, big government wusses” - assuming you are right, the solution is to get a small-government conservative to lead our party and be our nominee, not nominate someone who has funded Big Govt weenies like Schumer.

Trump has been a financial supporter of big Govt Democrats, and gave money To Harry Reid when he was challenged by tea Party type Republican Sharron Angle.

“Trump said he would run as an independent if he thought he could get elected ... Discussions of third parties are a waste of time” Contradiction here.

I dont see any indication that Trump will do any better at reducing Government spending than any other Republican candidate, or stand up for the conservative ideals that we need. He’ll probably be the worst of the litter on that. Trump does not dont have any track record of doing so, rather he has a track record of being just the kind of Eastern new York elite type you disdain - supporting Clinton during impeachment, voting for Obama, etc.

Bashing Republicans as a way to build up Trump will only raise the suspicion further that this is about hurting the Republicans to get Obama re-elected, rather than getting the best person to replace Obama.

And we know that that the only way to replace Obama will be a unifying conservative alternative that wins 51% fo the vote. United we stand, divided we fall.

“Trump 2012 is Arnold 2003. He is a useful idiot doing the dirty work the idiot Country Clubber GOP won’t do. I hope he runs in the primary and exposes a lot of Obama’s socialism to those who refused to listen so far. But as the GOP nominee, he would be a disaster.”

Another good analogy. Like Jesse “the whatever” Ventura, these celeb-politicians are bound to disappoint sooner or later. The substance never matches the showmanship.

No, the Tea Party arose in reaction to the It’s not aabout D or R, its about our country.

"fiscal destruction of our country through bailouts, stimulus and other acts of spending money we dont have." is SOP for the Democrats and everyone knows it. That the Republicans joined the Democrats in this destructive course is what woke conservative people up and caused the rise of the Tea Parties.

Bashing Republicans as a way to build up Trump will only raise the suspicion further that this is about hurting the Republicans to get Obama re-elected, rather than getting the best person to replace Obama.

Republicans "bashed" themselves, witness Crybaby Boehners complete capitulation to the Dems.

Trump builds himself up, he doesn't need any help from me.
