This is a stupid transparent Ross Perot type move. Try to devide the Repubs/Conservs/Tea Party.

The Republicans and Tea Party Conservatives are divided and have been since the start of the Tea Party Revolution. The last straw was the pathetic total capitulation by Crybaby Boehner.

Like many conservatives, I have voted Republican because there has been no choice. I do not support the effete elite Republican leadership. I am looking for someone who puts the interest of the Country first in both domestic and foreign policy. The Republican party does not do this and Trump says that he will even if liberals and foreign countries oppose him. He has my attention and if he continues taking it to the liberals instead of cowering in Washington afraid to offend anyone like the Republican "leadership", he will likely get my vote. It won't have anything to do with Perot or a liberal conspiracy. It will be because he is the candidate, irrespective of party, who I believe can both win the election and have the guts to put America First.

And then you started replying in insults. Insults that had nothing to do with anything I’ve done or said.

Please stop replying to me. FR is full of posters. Find someone else’s position to distort and malign, and leave me alone, please.

This guy is worse than Romney. If RomneyBots get the zot then those that pimp for Donald Trump should at least qualify for a double secret probation zot.

He should challenge Obama. As a Democrat. That would really be fun.

Exactly!

“Palin won’t be running...”

Maybe I missed something, but care to tell us how you know “Palin won’t be running?”

I’ll make you a prediction; if Palin does decide to run, she WILL SUCK THE OXYGEN AWAY FROM THE OTHER CANDIDATES...INCLUDING THE DONALD!

“Like you have anyone better who can beat Obama and evict him from his White House party pad.”

Yes, so let’s all stick our heads up our rear ends and quit asking so many pesky questions and stuff.

Let’s unplug our brains and vote for Trump without any more scrutiny whatsoever. Great plan.

Sarah Palin will keep her eye on Trump and if he still has a huge lead in August (over other GOP hopefuls) she will endorse him and hope she gets a VP nomination from Trump or anyone else. She already beat her head against the wall as Gov of Alaska as vile bloggers drover her out.... been there and done that. Same with McCain. She’s only riding winners from now on. That’s what she is thinking

Trump. I have no clue what he’s doing now. I waffle between thinking he is making a few gaffs as he learns what is going on with the “Birther” issue, and thinking we are being set up. You know-a big public figure makes a HUGE deal out of it on every single network, has all of the money and influence and people investigating, then PLOP! “Nope birthers, I didn’t find anything-and believe me, if anyone could it’s the Donald, so trust me when I say there is nothing to this nonsense”.

Plus, his campaign guy, counsel, VP-who is sorting through all of the info and material sent by the Birthers, bloggers, etc., why would he make the statement,”I am certain that the president was born in Hawaii — I really am,” if Trump is finding stuff?

It seems odd to me. I am as hopeful as the next person that somehow some piece of information magically pops up and sinks obama. But something here seems a bit questionable.

And one very small coincidence is that the person who supposedly first “discovered” obama’s newspaper birth announcement (by requesting the Honolulu State Library staff check microfilms) “Lori Starfelt”, a PUMA (supposedly), happened to pass away the day before Trump started all of his birth certificate stuff. There wasn’t an obit that we could find. Just that her husband planned a memorial for a month after her death - so like right around nowish. And there were two different dates mentioned as the day she died. She was a filmmaker. The microfilms do have anomalies. Just saying.

I lived in Hawaii all the years Obamawhatshisname was growing up. Nothing he’s ever said about HI in those years was anything but krap including the story about his Gramma and the panhandler. My own son was born there a few years after BHO. We have copies of my sons “Certificate of live Birth” and a later “Certification of Live Birth” the format of which is a little different than the one presented by BHO as his own. The “certification” form is not a permanent record but is generated from the “certificate” each time there is a request. The HI records guy is a democrat who would not say that he had the original “certificate” in hand when he generated the published “certification” and, for me, that’s where the problem starts. I want to know the name of the doctor who signed the original “certificate”——I probably know the guy. Knowing that name would put most of the question to bed for me. But Barry seems to have been adopted by Soterro and his welfare queen mom would have had to have had BHO’s Certificate modified to reflect the new name. He could not have changed it back. There’s a reason his Punahou friends called him “Barry” and I’ll take bets that he’s holding office under an assumed name. Just waiting for Trump and Abercrombie to get the records together.

True. No one can say with certainty one way or the other. The only ones who ever knew are dead. The flunkie doctor in Hawaii who claims to have "seen" the BC is a leftwing political crackpot who wants to run white people off the islands and see native Hawaiians get their own state. Anyone want to trust this hag, be my guest. I'll pass.

Thanks for sharing that fascinating info. I’ve been out all afternoon, and it was nice to come home to something so interesting to read. It reminded me of a Howie Carr show I listened to recently. (Carr is a conservative talk show host, in case you’re not familiar.) He had a woman call up who had a HI COLB. Hers looks nothing like the weird image Daily Kos released (and which people claim is a photo of Obama’s real deal). She and Howie laughed and joked about the differences.

Why ***anybody*** settles for that silly online image is beyond me. The truth will come out, and a lot of people—including but not limited to Obama—are going to look really bad when it does.

Yuri Bezmenov, ex-KGB agent who defected to the US, says that the people who honestly believe the communist pap are always the first people to be lined up and shot when the revolution hits. Because they truly believed that communism would be good, they are disillusioned and incensed when they find out it’s all just a power ploy, and they become the fiercest fighters.

People who are cruising along half-asleep could be on whichever side, but when they become fully awake and cognizant of what is being done to them, that is when you get your powerful players - the ones that the communists, who are experienced enough to know about this, fear the most.

Disillusionment is a powerful force. Republicans better take that seriously. If people find they invested their trust and their effort into electing politicians who rotted once they got to DC, those politicians can kiss future elections good-bye. Any R who has mocked the eligibility issue should be shaking in their boots right now, because the polling is saying that people are not happy about being ridiculed rather than having the rule of law taken seriously. The people are sick of being screwed by politicians.

And the people who are disgusted just might include Michael Cohen and Donald Trump, like a lot of previously apolitical people became energized because of the bailout and Obamacare. People can change. I don’t know if Cohen and Trump are playing us for fools or not, but I know that Trump is the only one who seems to actually be listening to people like me and giving us a voice.

...ditto...I hope he does run in the Republican primaries, may the best candidate win. Trump does not play mister nice guy, like some of the other current top candidates (i.e. Romney, Huckabee), if some one punches him in the mouth, he'll punch back hard, people respect that. If the Republican's put up another wimp in 2012, it's game over. By the way, my preferred candidate would be Allen West if he would run. I could live with Trump-West if that's how it played out.

Michael Cohen sounds like a PUMA.

And we know how well that worked out for us.

BINGO! We will have a host of good conservative candidates, and based on what I heard out of the Palin speech today, one of them will be Palin. ("game on!")

If she's does we have a Strong GOP Field: Palin, Romney, Daniels, Pawlenty, Barbour, Gingrich, Bachmann, Huckabee. All would make better Prez's than Obama.

Trump would too, but he's not a Republican or conservative. Mark Levin calls The Donald "Chump". I think the term would equally apply to his supporters if they don't get informed on the expose that Mark Levin has done on him. it's early innings, and Trump has stirred the pot. Let the vetting begin.

With the economey in free fall, WHY has Trump picked THIS issue to attack Zero on? No this whole affair reeks of set up. The Dummies think the TEA PARTY is defined by the BC issue. Not tue, but if they can use Trump to link the Tea Party to the BC and then turn the table the TP is finished.

You may be right. Donald Trump has had nothing to do with the Tea Party prior to now. With real Tea Party types like Michelle Bachmann running, you'd have to be a chucklehead to give your support to Trump vs other great candidates just over his self-interested last-minute pandering.

Hell hath no fury like a political supporter scorned. Would you have us tell all the formerly Democrat elected officials that they should go back to being Dems?

Not, but rest assured, many of the non-conservative former Dems end up in the RINO camp and are precisely the people the hardcore does want run out of the party, for backstabbing conservatives all the time.

Maybe tell David Horowitz, thanks but no thanks you were a red diaper baby? No room for conversions in your world?

That's a different claim. Trump was gung-ho on Canadian socialist healthcare in 2000, and supported Harry Reid in 2010 against Sharon Angle. Until Trump actually apologizes for both positions/actions there is no conversion to consider.

Keep vetting.

Even the owner of the local hardware store will donate to a candidate in his community of the other party if that person is in power and pretty much assured a 2:1 victory such as Dems enjoy in those areas.

Not true in general. The specific people who operate that way are those who put money above principle and are throwing money around to those in power to gain undue influence. Such people are the ones who ruin politics. IF that's the excuse Trump is using, it just means he lacks principles and uses money for political power - if so, he's the problem not the solution to our broken political system.
