Ah, but they are. I have a gullible friend sending me ridiculous stuff from "Natural News". Don't drink the milk! lol LOL! They must be drinking beer or something stronger, I haven't seen the MSM enemedia backing them up. :)

Yes.
Cut your banana intake down from 2 bananas per day to 1 banana, and you’ll get less radiation than you are from Japan.

A couple posts above this one have links to the radiation levels. This one is the isotope readings in various substances (rainwater, drinking water, milk, etc). The difference is tha isotopes pretty much have to come from Japan whereas the radiation comes from other sources. Note that the readings are all pretty low.

"Here in CO, things are ever so slightly stronger...as in "worse if I eat a banana' to 'slightly less worse if I eat a banana'."
' Have you even noticed that there are a whole lot of banana eating, overregulating, animal worshipping, plant worshipping, old, bipartisan hippies in this state?
Contrary to the banana eating NIMBYs, I say that we need more radiation and more real work happening.

If I start growing a third eye or super strength. Then I’ll start to worry.
To: jazusamo
Environmentalists always know "stuff" and everyone else is clueless. ;-)
Headlines from "Natural News":
Radiation levels in U.S. milk now 300% of EPA maximum
EPA to raise radiation limits in the USA while Canada turns off radiation detectors
Radiation levels still rising, experts say will take months or years to get under control
And my friend buys it all. *sigh*

Is there some reason no one is talking about this? Becauuuuuuse... Americans will get more radiation from taking an LA to NY flight than we get from the Japanese reactors?
Because there is more strontium-90 in groundwater already than we received from Japan?
Don't fan the nuke scare flames. All is well.

I’m about to go out and dig in the maroon soil some more. With the wind around here, I’ve eaten quite a bit of the stuff. So people afraid of radiation should probably stay away from my ___.

Not to worry not2worry. I can go out in my back yard at night and can see with out turning on the pouch light. But remember California has an over abidance of eco freaks that wig out at the possibility that there might be a rumor about something that could possible happen if we don’t do something now. I haven’t heard from them living the the state, I can only assume that they are contemplating the possibility that there might just maybe a cure for cancer found in the lent of homeless people caused by global warming. Thus I feel safe. Well Kinda.

Perhaps they know that the gazillion people going through TSA scanners is what is really the cause of 'higher numbers'. Could be wrong; but IMHO. . .as good a chance that the greater threat from Government TSA scanners. (Would like to see Geiger Counters in airport; and watch the needles move;
post 'security' screenings.)
Would like to see at list a few pics of 'Big Sis' getting her dose and getting checked out as well.

"I have used every search engine and the latest information I able to retrieve is from March 19, 2011." Your nick name says it all. If there were even the tiniest of blips of radiation you'd be hearing it non stop. It would be all the media could talk about.

Agree. Back in the late 70s, we had “Don’t Californicate Colorado bumper stickers intended to keep out the lib dummies. Didn’t work.
Now we’ve got gov hiccup-looper..a typical mindless lib.

Agreed, and well said. Most of the liberals in my development might move away before long. They spent too much of the HOA membership kitty to have their private road maintenance/plowing demands met. They’ve demanded much from local government, but revenues are going down. They pay too much without working to cut their own costs. Those of us with technical experiences and sociable personalities will probably remain.
