The small peaks after the quake are interesting, but what I'm wondering is what was the source of the many times higher peaks that occurred around March 1st ?

We dropped two bombs and China did a lot of above ground tests, not to mention the ones we did. This event is a blip. I would not eat anything from Japan for a while just to be safe (I don't eat raw fish anyway)

Get a bag of microwave popcorn, set it on a table, if it starts popping, run fast.

I remember back in 1960 on the Triton in our 84 day trip, I worked andj spent most of my time only 20 feet from the forward reactor. All the exposure to radiation was from the sun. You see the first month we spent part of it ashore and film badges developed at end of month showed radiation. However the next two months our film badges didn’t show any. Then the end of May our film badge again showed exposure because we arrived on 11 may. So consider this as a measurement involving reactor exposure.

Hey REDWOOD. Been a while.

I have a history of working in nuke plants as a pipefitter. Both new construction and maintenance on plants in operation.

Safety standards employed in the industry are above reproach.

I can assure y’all that I do not glow at night, my daughters suffered no birth defects unless one considers beauty and super intelligence a defect.

Hi DD. I had a friend who did some welding on the HumBay Nuke plant and he died... when he fell off the roof of his barn

Building trades has created medical screening for individuals with work experience in the nuke industry looking for radiation related health issues. Claims can be filed for compensation for negative results.
