The man behind Donald Trump's possible 2012 presidential campaign is a registered Democrat who voted for Barack Obama in 2008.
Not only that, but Michael Cohen, an executive at the Trump Organization who doubles as Trump's chief political adviser, once volunteered for 1988 presidential candidate Michael Dukakis and worked for a Democratic member of Congress.

In and of themselves, Cohen and Trump could very well be typical moderate-lib-whatever types who were mugged by Obama in the last 2 years, and have truly seen the light.
However, since Trump is famous and has a big mouth, it’s a lot harder for people to know this, vs. it being a stunt or lie.
Personally, I think the guy’s serious, but he’s gonna have a hard time proving it.

It seems to me the democrats liked the Pit Bull handle. Now there are two pit bulls, One with lipstick. Trump isn’t being very original. Lets say he is another Ross Perot attempting to split the republican vote.
Now, if Trump really wants to do something for the country, Let him run in the democrat primary against zero. I’d even cross over and vote for him.
And Dick Morris once worked for Clinton, and now seems more conservative than just about any high-profile Republican out there.

Dems and RINOs are squealing the loudest against Trump. I have no objection to hasseling both. The overtly panicked Right need to wait for Trump to implode on his own, and enjoy his current advance on Obama.
We do not have hay seeds for brains out here to enjoy what Trump has accomplished for us against this White House. It’s a first. It has penetrated the media, broadened the question and caused Obama much grief. Trump will choke on his own self love soon. :)
It’s getting hard to decide who’s more threatened by Trump, libs or the GOP.

I enjoy watching Trump’s theater;
Seeing him stick a burr under Nobama’s @ss is enjoyable.
He’s not really sticking him on economics or issues of state so it is a rope-a-dope to get attention shifted from more pressing issues.
Would I vote for him? Never.
Would he run as a 3rd party to split the vote and give the election to the dems? Sure he would.
Trump is a red herring designed to split the Repub vote. And......it’ll probably work.
Whether you're a Trump supporter or not, the importance here is to realize exactly what's transpiring. The attacks against Trump may be accurate and even warranted, but they are also coordinated. This same MSM which has no interest in doing any reporting on Barack Obama, is once again in the process of choosing who his opponent should be. It's laughable that the criticism from Media is that Trump is “Liberal”. If Trumps an evil Liberal, what does that make Obama?
I do have to hand to them though. The smoke screen around any past documentation of this President being released gets bigger and bigger.

It isn’t going to happen. There are still people on this forum that are proud that they voted for Perot (and helped elect Clinton.)
Trump is a DEM stooge. It isnt going to work.
