I can't help you find it, but I remember it well. The interviewer might possibly have been Brit Hume or Chris Wallace.

As I recall, Obama was talking about the deficit, and how we needed to trim that deficit and how tax increases were an important part of making sure the government had the revenue it needed.
The interviewer pointed out that tax increases actually decreased revenue and would therefore work against the goal which Obama had just stated.
Obama pretty much shrugged and said, "Well, it's really all about fairness."

The guy has never been subtle. He wants redistribution of wealth. He wants $5 a gallon for gas. He wants the coal industry to be bankrupted. He says it all, but people just stare at him and say "Isn't he wonderful?"

I have seen that before. Democrats dont raise taxes on the rich to solve budget problems, they do it to soften up the middle class for their tax increases. That is what they mean by ‘fairness’. “Look, I know raising your taxes by 3% is tough on you but we need the money to save the country and the rich guy you envy now has to pay 15% more and look at all the great public services you will still get for it. Don't you feel better now that it is fair?
