Passover recalls the bondage and suffering of Jews in Egypt and the miracle of the Exodus, but U.S. President Barack Obama says its message is reflected in Muslim uprisings.
In his annual message, prior to his third straight participation in the Passover Seder, President Obama stated, “The story of Passover…instructs each generation to remember its past, while appreciating the beauty of freedom and the responsibility it entails. This year that ancient instruction is reflected in the daily headlines as we see modern stories of social transformation and liberation unfolding in the Middle East and North Africa.”

This is a Passover message.
“Ha lachma anya... This is the bread of affliction, the poor bread, that our ancestors ate in the land of Egypt.
All who are hungry, let them enter and eat. All who are in need, let them come and celebrate the Passover...”
Dear G-d, as we begin this year’s Passover Seder, we pause to reflect on the meaning of these words. While we encounter them each and every year, this year’s recitation takes on a new sense of urgency and import. Our nation is in the midst of an economic struggle, the likes of which few of us have witnessed in previous times. As we celebrate this Festival of Freedom, may we be inspired by the story of our ancestors who overcame the harshest of circumstances. May we be moved to do what we can to help those in need, and may we be empowered to ask when we find ourselves in need. For although we often feel that we are alone, may this Passover observance remind us that we are part of a strong and committed people who have faced and overcome many challenges throughout our long history. Amen.

It is a muslim thing.
Moses’ people sought freedom from bondage; Muslims seek to impose bondage on all others. Obama is not stupid - he’s just bending history to his whim.
I agree that perhaps the Muslims should use this time to reflect - reflect on what happened to Egypt when it would not let Israel go.
These muslims would rather slice the Jews' heads off than to acknowledge their religious traditions.
And Obambi would rather not acknowledge either them or Jesus' sacrifice and resurrection: he's a muslim.
This man must be truly evil to take a Jewish remembrance and postulate as something from all religions. His bias if not dedication to making Muslems a part of everyones spiritual being is as difficult to believe as his history that says Muslems have always been an integral part of the USA.

It's impressive how Barry can so consistently get things entirely wrong.
So true - there are plenty of Muslims who would use the instability and uprisings against Israel. I pray that tonight, those in Israel are comforted by what God did for them.

I wish this Obama Jew-Hater would not try to insert himself into Passover. Even worse are the Jews who are going to the Seder with him. Fake Jews.
