Wonder what the prospects are for a veto override?

Why should it be only AZ to catch hell from every dem in the world. You do it in YOUR state. She is right. If the media was responsible, crap like 0 wouldn’t happen. And I think that will happen soon. As to guns in college classrooms, what a waste of time and money. You put guns in YOUR college classrooms. You write the legislation. Then come back her and tell us how proud you are.

Considering it was straight line vote except for the Republican idiot that sabotaged the bill with his amendment and then didn’t vote...

make sure you speak your mind, before you click “Unlike”

I've done that before. I'll "like" Nancy Pelosi, comment on the unemployment rate before and after she controlled congress then "unlike" her again.

I think Rush would call that a "Drive-By Poster"

Given that he’s said he has a birth certificate and the HDOH has said they have records for him, I would definitely not accept that a baptism or circumcision record was all he had.

See, the level of lying on the part of both Obama and all the government agencies creates a situation where if they don’t have a hospital-generated birth certificate for Obama that checks out both forensically and in the computer-embedded transaction logs, then heads had better roll. At that point, where Obama was born should be the least of our worries, because he and everybody else who has covered his sorry behind should be frog-marched to the nearest maximum-security prison and the key should be thrown away.

This nation and its laws deserve nothing less. At this point the issue has very little to do with Obama at all, but with the LAWLESSNESS that has covered for him. And that includes his own crimes of perjury and forgery, and (depending on what he knew about the threats made to Fox and 3 other media companies - and from the way he made pointed comments toward Fox right before the election, I’m sure he knew all about it) extortion. Not to mention identity theft, SS fraud, etc.

Of course they can override the veto. That's an aspect of pretty much any governmental system that has a veto. If there's really interest in seeing this through in the legislature, they can and will.

We shall see.

Good Lord. In 9 years 23 politicians received perks totaling $63,000 and this is all that is talked about? That wouldn’t even pay for one year of Nancy Pelosi’s in-flight booze. That averages out to $304/year for each person involved.

You can pull state legislature contact information off the web. Be advised, however, that they tend to be less interested in comments from out of state.

Even if state government members are threatened and no eligibility verification bills go through, there’s going to be a real civilian public demand for accountability, and the media calling everyone “crazy” is not going to hold up until fall 2011. It’s gonna get a whole lot more intense.

Thanks for the post. I think you're right (and I feel better too). So disappointed here, but, as you say, everyone is talking about this now and it isn't going away! State bills or not, it is going to be on people's minds when they pull the lever on November 6, 2012. . .

Wow, she has balls. Good for her, she did the right thing. This next election has to be about the things Obama has done and what he will do, not where the hell he was born.

Can’t the Legislature override her veto? If they have enough
votes they should be able too.

Exactly. And yet every time I turn on Barry Young during my drive to work in the morning, he’s ranting about Russell Pearce. Russell Pearce has been extremely effective in getting legislation passed to curb illegal immigration, so don’t think for a minute that Eric Holder’s office doesn’t have something to do with all this. And Barry Young is buying the whole thing hook, line and sinker. Lots of people I know locally have been turning off his show because of it. I think Pearce is being framed, yet effective legislation has been basically halted ever since this whole Fiesta thing broke. I think that’s why this birth cert and campus carry stuff got all messed up. People are distracted.

This has very little to do with where he was born. It has everything to do with the laws that have been broken by government workers at every level in order to cover for Obama. We’re talking forgery, perjury, obstruction of justice, extortion, identity theft, etc, as well as government bureaucrats’ falsification of government records, forgery, illegal access to personal records, refusal to obey open records laws, etc.

When in all these plans of yours does the rule of law ever get followed? And how long do you expect a society to last without the rule of law? Without the rule of law, what makes you think it even matters who we elect or what laws they pass?

We are talking about the most basic, core foundations of a civil society that there even are. That is what this is about. Without that core foundation based on the rule of law, elections don’t matter one bit. We just change the name of the lawless tyrant who does what he/she darn well pleases while the people are told the rule of law is none of their business and all they can do is be good little sheep who pay their taxes and bend over to get screwed.

This is a battle for America. Don’t be deceived into thinking it’s anything less than that. It has almost nothing to do with where Obama was born.
