A paper by Cass Sunstein says it all.
From p.14 "Conspiracy Theories" by CASS R. SUNSTEIN

II. Governmental Responses
What can government do about conspiracy theories? Among the things it can do, what should it do? We can readily imagine a series of possible responses: (1)Government might ban conspiracy theorizing. (2) Government might impose some kind of tax, financial or otherwise, on those who disseminate such theories. (3) Government might itself engage in counterspeech, marshaling arguments to discredit conspiracy theories. (4) Government might formally hire credible private parties to engage in counterspeech. (5 Government might engage in informal communication with such parties, encouraging them to help. Each instrument has a distinctive set of potential effects, or costs and benefits, and each will have a place under imaginable conditions.
However, our main policy idea is that government should engage in cognitive infiltration of the groups that produce conspiracy theories, which involves a mix of (3), (4) and (5).
QED, I think, and greetings to all paid trolls and Obots!
Listen to what Pastor Manning has to say at time stamp 13:55-14:00
You might also take note of the fact that he suggests that they can be used to destroy credibility.
This huge douchebag ought to infiltrate the group conspiring to undermine American sovereignty in order to bring about the end of our republic.
He is obviously enamored with “Government Might”.............
Birthers... get ready!
There are even moles and trolls among the birthers, not everyone is our friend...
Birthers... get ready!
A tax on conspiracy theories!!
A pox on all their houses!!
He's waaay late to the game. The FBI under Hoover did this for decades before this twit was even born...............
BTW where the hell have you people been? I’ve been pointing this out for at least a year.
Well, Cass sure does take the “Theory” out of the conspiracy, now doesn’t he?
Cass Sustein couldn't handle FR for a full day of fun and frolick. He's a wuss. His beard is a nutcase. His family are pukes. His friends are all sexual deviates or tax cheats or both! OH, MY GOODNESS ~ BOTH!
Cass Sunstein’s a Czar. Why are the Republicans in the House still funding these extra-Constitutional Czars?
I think I’ll just ban Cass Sunstein.
You did know there are Clintonistas still on the lam trying to escape federal warrants. I think that sort of thing put a real dent in their ability to run the Hildabeast for President. We can keep the Obots and their running dog lackeys out of government in the future the same way. Chicago will be devoid of lawyers!
I most respectfully say that I am not getting the connection between this and the eligibility issue. I apologize that it didnt QED for me. I would appreciate it if you would be willing to elucidate it a little more. Thanks.
Only a fool of Sunstein’s caliber could be so inspired to prove himself wrong.
He’s going to shut down colleges and universities??
I don’t know. I see a lot of willful ignorance around here some days. This Sunstein paper is nothing new to those who have paid a little attention.
All a Sunstein troll needs to do is tell people what they want to hear and they’ll follow them blindly.
Didn’t Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon try this?
Heinrich Himmler, but newer!
Trolls and Obots won't, by definition, admit to "getting the connection". On the other hand, of course, if you are devoid of rational thought, then you may have some difficulty recognizing the bleedin' obvious.
“This huge douchebag ought to infiltrate the group conspiring to undermine American sovereignty in order to bring about the end of our republic.”
I hate to be the one to break it to you, but he IS part of “the group conspiring to undermine American sovereignty in order to bring about the end of our republic.”
So is his nasty wife.
We don’t need to hatch “conspiracy theories” with these conspiratorial people all around the conspirator-in-chief. We are already smack-dab in the middle of the biggest conspiracy against the US in the history of this country. We are looking at actual treason on a scale that makes scaling Mt. Everest seem like a romp in the park.
obama makes the Manchurian Candidate look like a better alternative.
And we should pay good money for all these infiltrations?
So, I guess we have the money....
Cass Sunsteins a Czar. Why are the Republicans in the House still funding these extra-Constitutional Czars?
Because they are ALL crooks, liars and cheats and only in it for themselves and the $$$.
None of the options they considered simply allowed for the free exercise of the 1st amendment. Leftists always have to respond with force when free people act in a manner, even if legal, that they don’t like. Live and let live is they antithesis of leftist thought.
BS! The BC issue isn’t a conspiracy theory, it’s a fact.
What government is he talking about that he thinks it could ban theorizing? Soviet Union? Red China? Cuba?
“Cass Sunsteins a Czar.’
Actually, he’s not. He’s head of OIRA, which was established 30 years ago. http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/inforeg_administrator
He may not be the right man to fill the post, but it’s a very legitimate position and actually can do some good (reduce excess regulation) if the right person is named to the position.
“Hes going to shut down colleges and universities??”
I am for so doing. Those places are full of commies and queers.
Of course it is! But the media blowing it off as a “conspiracy theory” and the Republicans joining suit... can you not deny that us Birthers would be LUMPED into a category like this?
STOP POSTING HIS CRAP HERE!!!!!
I welcome are new infiltrators for one,it is fair conspiracy groups should also try to infiltrate government groups. If we keep are facts strait we could convince the infiltrators were are right.
There are conspiracy groups that are total nuts. These should just be ignored for the most part. People tend not to rally around leaders wearing tin foil hats. Some effort should be taken to help people caught in death cults like Heaven’s Gate cult. The real problem is that there is too many in government wearing tin foil hats. Global warming types amongst them.
Did he get Congressional approval for that position?
This “huge douchebag” in the group you speak of.
He is Obama’s Regulatory Czar...
You are absolutely correct, from the point of view from our side of the fence. However, from their side... it IS a conspiracy theory.
Unfortunately, this paper recommending government infiltration is a testament to the current thinking of a presidentially appointed Czar intent on bridling free speech. His first two options are particularly troublesome.
When a brain is filled with such mush, it's a wonder he still has motor skills.
The Difference Between Marxofacism and Conservativism:
Marxofacists: “The Bush government was behind the 9/11 attacks!”
Conservatives. “Whatever. You guys are idiots.”
Conservatives: “Obama needs to show his birth certificate.”
Marxofacists: “The government and media need to infiltrate your organizations, launch a massive propaganda campaign against you, and prosecute you for crimes against the state!”
You mean he’s not actually a “meat puppet”? Oh the humanity!!!!
Finally got around to a Truth Tax. To Democrats the Truth is a conspiracy and to many Republican RINOS.
Because they are Lily Livered Pussies afraid of PC.
Yeah, this is nothing new. Nixon did this to the hippy anti-war movement in the late 1960’s he planted moles and infiltrators.
Is it conspiracy theory to see conspiracy is all groups opposed to your agenda?
There once was a Czar they called Cass;
Who just couldn’t learn from the past;
He reveled in power,
at least till the hour;
The patriots tarred and feathered his ass.
