It's just ginning up donations from the true believeing gun grabbers for the coming campaign season.

IMHO, they've given up on retaking the House. They'll have a hard enough job just keeping the Senate.

Maybe she could team up with her assistant...Karl Rove. I think he is a Democrat.

A Wasserman test? I thought they did away with that for marriages.

Again: make gun sales like liquor sales, where no record is kept of what is bought by who, and I’ll gladly flash an ID to prove I’m legally qualified.

This isn’t about safety or the children because if it were, they would be implementing laws that would protect the law-abiding, not disarming them.

The want control over every transaction simply because it is one of the biggest steps to registration and then confiscation.

he seems to be a paid political adviser(prostitute) for whomever wants to listen. We should propose legislation that any one with a hyphenated name should STFU.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz said the current law, which allows private firearm sales without background checks, is "outrageous.

How DARE people buy and sell things without the government being involved and getting a cut.

The reference was to recent polls indicating that voters — even gun owners — overwhelmingly support a system of across-the-board background checks.

Hmmm. I wonder how the question was phrased in these "polls"? Also, what was the composition of the people surveyed, i.e., how many Democrats, how many Republicans?

Bad dudes get their guns on the street...no screening necessary.

Edited for truer intent.

The Dododemocrats still believe that it’s the gun shows that are to blame. Perhaps, Debbie Wasserman-Klutz (and man lady, your hair is in sore need of some Panteen), had Sheriff Douche listened to the complaints about Loughner’s dangerous behavior and actually taken the trouble to put this lunatic on a list he wouldn’t have been able to purchase a gun in the first place.

And I’m sure all those gang bangers in L.A. will be sure to follow the letter of the law in their “private” sales.

You obviously don’t know Florida that well. Wasserman Schultz represents her NY transplant constituents very well.

Exactly.

When Obama was running for office, he promised all sorts of things with regard to gun control. He wouldn't try to take anyone's guns, gun owners need not fear him, etc.

I thought (and said) at the time that if he managed to get himself elected, he probably wouldn't do much on gun control issues until he knew that either he probably wouldn't win reelection in 2012, or until he was reelected and facing a term limit.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz as head of the DNC is just the tip of the gun control iceberg we're about to witness.

But we don’t get to screen Presidential candidates for eligibility.

That would be racist.

This is real simple. Any politician who votes to infringe the 2nd Amendment is a domestic enemy of the Constitution, and a traitor. The penalty for treason is death. The only question is who is going to mete out the punishment.

Try it, dim-bulb-crats.

Wait until after the upcoming civil war, at least.
