When the even-keeled and cool President Obama gets prickly in public, it never goes unnoticed.
For Obama, who has carefully cultivated a reputation of easily managing confrontations with people who disagree with him, these moments are as rare as they are revealing of the person behind the presidency.
So its no surprise that Washington took notice when after a tense interview with a Texas TV reporter on Monday, Obama unclipped his microphone with no smile in sight, and tersely warned, Let me finish my answers next time we do an interview, all right?
The president of the United States was not happy. Obama had been corrected (he lost Texas by 12 points, not a few, in 2008), he was accused of punishing the state for political reasons (he denied that the White House had any part in the decision not to award a space shuttle to Houston), and he was challenged with the most basic of political questions: Why are you so unpopular in Texas?
And all that in a setting the White House anticipated would be largely free of tricky questions.

Good for the interviewer! And if those are what dumbo thinks are hard questions, he’s got another thought coming!
Hey, one doesn’t really question the king who has no answers—only LIES.
Any Conservative politician would have considered that interview a walk in the park! This whole episode amounts to a stinging indictment of how criminally EASY the MSM has been on Obambi.
He who will be worshipped didn’t like that he couldn’t filibuster this interview. Maybe Mr. Diahrrea of the Mouth ought to be more respectful of interviewers and listeners and keep his blathering responses to under 10 minutes per question.
I watched the first half of the raw footage, and thought Obama was long-winded, filibustering to avoid too many questions. The interview never really interrupted in a way that prevented Obama from answering (he quietly corrected the “few percent”) error, and let Obama speak.
Obama came off as a thin-skinned wimp.
Compare Sam Donaldson and Reagan.
That ghetto Punk has brought, the level of a president to that of a garbage collector No,on second thought lower!!
LMAO!!!! Get yer popcorn...

Compare it to Perky Katie’s interview of Sarah Palin. Obama would be a grease spot on his chair if he had to face that!
“And all that in a setting the White House anticipated would be largely free of tricky questions.”
Does this White House schedule any other ind of interviews? Even at the *evil* Fox News, he only does interviews with the groveling O’Reilly. If he’d do an interview with Greta, it’d be a lot more interesting. I believe she’d be respectful but ask truly tough questions.
Why do we post $(*$ from “Politico44?” Says right at the top: “A Living Diary of the Obama Presidency.” This ain’t no liberal press release society.
Are you a troll or something?
Barry is one question away from his Macaca moment,

If this crook and his socialist tribe get reelected he will go absolutely nuts in destroying this fine nation!
Just wait ‘til he faces Palin in The Debates. He’s gonna come unglued like a pair of Chinese flip-flops from Family Dollar the second day at the beach.
LMAO!!!! Get yer popcorn...
