Apparently they also burned down the "Maison de la Fraternite" (where they were given shelter) because they were getting tired of eating the same macaroni.

Aren’t the Tunisians now boarding boats trying to swamp Italy? I read something a couple days ago that Italy refuses to let them land. Prayers for Italy.
Italy has big problems. Government corruption is extensive. Good paying jobs are hard to come by. The global economic situation is hurting tourism dollars. The Camorra/mafia are a very real problem. The Italian birth rate is low, and immigration is altering demographics without assimilation. The switch to the Euro raised prices significantly, without raising wages. There don't appear to be any substantial growth industries.
Other than that, no problems..

Italy needs to get tough about barbarian migrations. They got complacent about it a couple thousand years ago, and things did not turn out well for Rome.
Italy needs to find a hulk, round these clowns up, put ‘em on the ship, sent it back to Tunisia and wreck it on the beach.
