A big “X” marked many a calendar today, as McDonald’s held a national hiring day in hopes of corralling 50,000 new workers. According to reports this morning, numerous local locations in Empire of the Golden Arches reported lines out the door.
Unfortunately, this afternoon a fight broke out at the McDonald’s at St. Clair Ave. and East 105th Street after applicants were turned away, according to Fox8. Three individuals were injured and taken to the hospital*. Police have arrested one individual and are looking for another.

I'm not one for boycotts but I will recommend that those who want to dine at McD's after this had better make sure they have plenty of security forces with them.

I blame Obama and Holder. If Obama’s economy wasn’t so bad, so many people wouldn’t have to go to McDonald’s to eat and McDs wouldn’t be hiring. If Holder’s DOJ encouraged prosecution of “his people”, maybe these incidents would not be happening.

CLEVELAND — Just after 2 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to the McDonald’s at E. 105th Street and St. Clair Avenue for reports of several people being run over by a car.
There was a large crowd there for the national restaurant chain’s “Hiring Day.”
Witnesses and police tell a Channel 3 News crew that two girls started fighting with other girls in the parking lot. Then the McDonald’s owner and the manager came out to break it up.
Witnesses said one girl and her friend got into her silver Infiniti while the fight continued.
Witnesses then said the girl in the silver Infiniti started it up and then backed up, running over the McDonald’s owner and the manager and two other people.

Pretty sure East 105th and St. Clair has more “Sneakers over the telephone wires” than “Golden Arches”. Pity. The people in that area really do need a chance for honest work.

I’ve seen this, and understood it was some gang/black culture thing, but nothing beyond that.
You’re thinking of Cincinnati. This happened in Cleveland, home of ten cent beer night, flammable rivers, and projectile protest of bad referee calls. Or as I like to call it, “home”.
I thought it was a way of defining ones drug territory. Or, perhaps a polish boomerang?
Last thing a cop chasing a younger faster suspect sees as the suspect goes over a chain link fence.
