If there were ever a position over-ripe for elimination it's this one. In fact the entire Department could be eliminated and it would result in a small but perceptable improvement of the overall education environment.

God help us all. One of my daughters appears to be heading there in the fall after appeals to get her to Iowa State instead.
This is the type of climate she will encounter in Iowa City I fear.

I was actually shocked to hear there is a college Republican group in Iowa City.

I would assume such a group would be labeled as a terrorist group at the UofI.
