Giffords wrote on Twitter: "We are very happy that Pres. Obama is coming to Mark's launch! This historic mission will be Endeavour's final flight."

The Orlando Sentinel reports that Obama decided to attend for a few reasons, one of which was that he was going to be in the state already to speak at Miami Dade College's

No royal wedding invite.........

He wants to be treated like royalty on the Cape.

I doubt he is revered there.

The Vacationer-In-Chief takes a little time off from his campaigning and fundraising. Maybe he can work in a round of golf while he’s there in Florida.

He’s gonna watch a complete crew of intellectual and moral superiors fly far, far above his sorry little butt.

Well slap my bacon. He’ll be flying right over the tornado devastated area that he just said he had no plans to visit.

Like his famous Manhattan flyover, maybe he could wave at the little people as he attends another campaign photo op?

Ya think he might find some time between now and the 29th to offer some words of encouragement and consolation for the victims of the recent weather disasters?

Political theater. Giffords is a prop for this president once again.

I have no doubt that he will find time for the links. After all, everything in this country is just humming along like a finely tuned watch, and all.

Photo op, that’s all. Such arrogance. We all dislike him now, more than ever.

Why, those were mostly Red states. The Dear Reader wants to watch the end of the space program first hand, and wish the astronauts well on their new mission of mooslim outreach.

This makes it sound as if Giffords herself is tweeting. Huh?

For once in my life I am hoping for a launch delay, the kind where they put it off multiple times, like an hour each time. Then, after they keep His Majesty waiting for hours, they put it off to another day.

I saw the shuttle go up once, it was awesome. After what he’s done to this country, Obama doesn’t deserve to have that experience.

Knowing him, he will find a way to bring the Arizona shooting into his photo-op, and blame Sarah Palin again.

FUBO.

Absolutely. The Dems here in AZ are touting her as a replacement for the Senate in the ‘Kyl’ seat. I'll believe her recovery (and I hope she DOES recover) when I see it. Some in the news media here are speculating the Dems will actually run Mark Kelly but use the sympathy for her to bolster his popularity. The Dems have lost their soul (if they ever had one to begin with).
