A 23-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly molesting an 8-year-old girl for three years, the Merced County Sheriff's Department reported.
Detective Dustin Witt began investigating suspect Oscar Garcia earlier this month, after the victim came forward and said he's been touching her inappropriately. Garcia's the boyfriend of the victim's older sister and has been living at her Los Banos residence for the last month, according to Deputy Tom MacKenzie, sheriff’s spokesman.
Witt discovered Garcia had been abusing the victim since she was 5 years old at various locations in the Los Banos area. The detective obtained an arrest warrant for Garcia and waited for him at Los Banos Human Services Agency on Tuesday. Garcia had an appointment to visit with his son, who was placed with foster parents prior to the molestation case.
When Garcia arrived, Witt took him into custody without incident, MacKenzie said.
It’s unknown why the suspect's son is with foster parents, but there’s no open investigation by the sheriff’s department into misconduct regarding the boy.
The victim is being cared for by Merced County Child Protective Services.

Mexican men just seem to have an affinity for having sex with young children. We hear of incidents such as this on a regular basis. Such acts are evil to many of us, but seem not to bother most of our political leadership, as they are quite eager to welcome such deviants into our country, and reward them with citizenship and a life of leisure at our expense.

If that is guilty, then let the locals decide punishment.
However, you missed this story specifically described him as an "illegal immigrant from Mexico" in paragraph 7. It wasn't posted because it features a Spanish surname. It's another story of a criminal illegal alien who has been hiding out in the U.S. long enough to molest this one girl for three years. Who knows what else he's done or to whom.
We have enough criminals and perverts of our own. We don't need imports.
Anecdotes are not very good evidence.
If you make such drastic statements, you should have something better than a vague impression to back it up.
It is possible you are right, but there are certainly lots and lots of men (I use the term very loosely) of other ethnies with similar proclivities.

TGrue, but the prison population data shows Messicans do commit a disproportionate number of crimes like rape, murder, brutal assaults, ad nauseam.
Oh, come on! The vast majority of the news report of the last decade or so that deal with an adult having sex with a child has a Mexican or Central American male as the perp. That is not anecdotal. Ask a cop.

I hardly think so. I think it’s more like they post about heinous crimes to show how low things are getting; that the majority of the perps have Spanish surnames is...well, interesting.
Unquantified data is by definition anecdotal. Doesn’t necessarily make your contention untrue.
I’d just like to see some statistics, not your impression of “a vast majority.”

I never bothered to count them. Seemed like it would be mind-numbingly tedious to do that. But, I’ll tell you what: I’ll start keeping a log of the ones I come across, and will be sure to keep you apprised. How many, do you think, should I accumulate so that your parameters would be met? How large a control group would be acceptable to you?
I know I’ve seen about a dozen articles over the last year, and all the perps in those articles were from Mexico and Central America (most from Mexico, though). I mean, a dozen is not a large number, to be sure; but the fact all the perps were identified as being from either Mexico or Central America was...well, interesting.
