Trump's lifelong credentials are those of a statist crony capitalist. Yet there are those ready to anoint him because of one single issue.
Another demonstration that many of the birthers are, simply, losing it.
If we are birthers, does that make those calling us that “spawners”?...
What should bother everyone here is this:
The document waved around by people like Stephanopoulis is a Certification of Live Birth.
A certification document is what is known in the legal community is an “abstract.” This means it intends to stand in the shoes of the original document, but for only certain things; it’s a shortcut.
Michele Bachmann is a lawyer. SHE SHOULD KNOW THIS AND SHOULD HAVE CALLED HIM ON IT.
Think of it this way. We all carry an auto insurance card; that is an “abstract.” It is supposed to stand in the shoes of our official insurance policy. You know, that thing that is about 40 pages long and details all our coverages. It does NOT detail our insurance coverage, it merely mentions that we have insurance. If the officer issues you a ticket that requires you to show up in court, in front of a judge with your insurance coverage in tow, it had better not be that card alone. You had better be hauling that 40 page document....or else.
The document they are trying to pass through is an ABSTRACT; the document they are hiding is the “40 page insurance policy” if you know what I mean.
The notion that MB did not spit these facts out with complete clarity, given her legal background, to Stephenopolis, is troubling...to say to least.
I like her too much to wonder if she’s gone over to the dark side.

“Actually NO, she is not right. In your quote of the law it keeps talking about “the CERTIFICATE”. In other words that a certified copy of the “ORIGINAL” “BIRTH CERTIFICATE” is legally the same as the original. DUH. They aren’t going to allow you to have “the original birth certificate”. They give you a copy, and this law is saying that a copy is just as good. A COLB is NOT a “COPY” of the original.
Now Hawaii has just changed laws & procedures about birth certificates to be able to TRY to get around having to provide a copy of “the original”. It won’t work.”
I don't want to "move on." I want to move in.
Is Ms. Bachmann really so clueless as to use the phrase, "move on"?

It is not deniable. She said what she said. She CAVED. She let Stephie bully her. What happens if China was to bully her?

That's unfortunate, but true. Almost half the public would vote again for Zero even if he was incontrovertibly proven to be a natural born citizen of Neptune.

They announced this yesterday morning on the Christian radio station that plays in two rooms 24/7 here and I just about fell over.
I can’t see any of the “clever tactical maneuvers” that others see.
I can only hear “I take the president at his word.”
That sunk it for me.
That actually happened just the day before.
Trump told him he was co-opted by team Obama. Stephanopoulos kept trying to find out what they had found in Hawaii and Trump told him it was none of his business, just to wait and see.

Bachmann should have known what was going to happen if that video was made available to her.
$5 a gallon gas is what the GOP should be forcing Stepontopofthis et al up against the wall to debate.
Instead Stef and the others are “using” the birf cert debate to DISTRACT.
Thanks a lot to the Donald, much damage is done- half or more of the US population no longer believes obama was born in US or is who he claims to be. In 30 days Corsi’s book hits the stands. You know what? ENOUGH PEOPLE DON'T CARE, that they may reselect obama. Even if you produce a Kenyan farm bucket containing his placenta - MANY PEOPLE DON'T CARE. And YOU can't make them care enough to save this country from the reality of this man and his destructive anger and hatred for this country.
But $5-$6-$10 a gallon gas? 20% unemployment? Unsustainable national debt? PEOPLE CARE. GOP needs to get on the message about what will get obama DEFEATED.
So keep it up, keep railing about his birf certificate and denouncing any candidate who does not make it front and center. (PS: How will it feel to be such a useful tool of obama and the liberal MEdia?)
Why is it that I get this sinking feeling that when ACORN was defunded, they all decided to become BIRTHERS?
We should probably nominate John McCain in 2012.

Yeah, and we had to wait for Al Capone's vault to be opened as well. Trump is playing birthers IMO and too many of them are uncritically examining what he is up to. He is no friend of conservatives, and he is doing this just to keep his mug on TV.
