Do Obama's tax returns make Ayers see red ?
WND ^ | April 21, 2011 | Jack Cashill

Posted on 04/21/2011 7:11:49 AM PDT by RobinMasters

As Barack Obama's recently released tax return reveals, the president made $1,512,933 in book royalties in 2010, and that was a relatively slow year.

A children's book Obama produced, "Of Thee I Sing: A Letter to My Daughters," appears to account for $131,075 of this amount with the rest divided between his 1995 memoir "Dreams From My Father," and his 2006 policy book, "The Audacity of Hope."

As I argue in my book "Deconstructing Obama," Weather Underground veteran Bill Ayers had little, if anything, to do with "Audacity" – indeed, he recently dismissed it as a "political hack book" – but he had everything to do with "Dreams."

The evidence strongly suggests that Ayers took over Obama's unfinished, un-publishable manuscript in 1994 and turned it into what Time magazine would call "the best-written memoir ever produced by an American politician."

The reader need not take my word for this. Christopher Andersen, in his 2009 book, "Barack and Michele: Portrait of an American Marriage," makes the same case based on interviews with Obama's friends in Chicago, quite possibly with Ayers himself.

A celebrity biographer with impeccable mainstream credentials, Andersen argues that, at "Michelle's urging," a "hopelessly blocked" Obama "sought advice from his friend and Hyde Park neighbor Bill Ayers."

What attracted the Obamas were "Ayers' proven abilities as a writer." Noting that Obama had already taped interviews with many of his relatives, Andersen elaborates, "These oral histories, along with his partial manuscript and a trunkload of notes were given to Ayers."

I will not buy anything that leads to royalties for Obama. I may have mis-shelved copies of his books in the library (behind the “gay issues” books), but I’d never even check one out because that might justify the library spending my tax dollars on more copies.

Hate America, bomb America, demand an overthrow of the government and an end to capitalism. Then get famous for your crimes, teach in a University and gain tenure in a career financed by working Americans and finally retire with a pension paid by working productive Americans.

Then, live in an upscale neighborhood and travel the world with elitist friends speaking against the American system and values.

I don’t think that Ayers has an issue with Obama (or himself) making TONS of money.

He just has an issue with you, the common citizen, making money.

Exactly, there’s nothing wrong with the elite “livin’ large”,
it’s just that everybody can’t live comfortably and in liberty,
because they’ll just do things that the elite don’t approve of.

And the biggest thing is, there isn’t enough DIFFERENCE between the elite lifestyles and the common lifestyles. That bugs the crap out of them.

Jeremiah Wright’s home (I refuse to call him Reverend).

Since that time, Trinity United Church sold the property to a trust company called ATG Trust, the executives for whom are all pictured above. Presumably ATG Trust, which specializes in tax shelters, trusts and investment management, created a trust and other investment strategies for Rev. Wright to minimize his tax exposure and maximize his returns.
Curiously, Wright appears to have utilized a firm with a distinct lack of diversity among its key executives in order to set up his tax shelters or whatever legal structures he used to protect his assets.

Well said. And never mind that Ayers family is loaded. He may well have inherited a small fortune.

I doubt Bill Ayres is mad about the success of Obama’s book.

Remember Bill Ayres wish’s to destroy America. His book helped Obaam win election and Obama is doing the job that Ayres set out to do

Destroy America.

More likely Ayres is laughing his butt off.

Little Billie's ego will be the undoing of Barry's claim to have written 'Dreams'.

He's already said it twice, on the record, in daring admissions gone unreported by Barry's supporters in the MSM.

I think these book sales are just a nice easy way for Soros to keep filling 0’s coffers and continuing the illusion of his literary genius and popularity. He’s probably got a nice little warehouse with stacks of them still in their boxes.

Ayres may resent the credit and praise that Obama gets for his book. There is more to life than money, even for the limo lib set.
