IF, DC would get serious about actually policing the Medicare Pie properly, this issue wouldn’t be such a contentious political football.

How do 2, just 2, scumbags manage to steal $200 Million out of the system BEFORE they got caught?
Only a frickin' idiot would NOT think seniors paid into a system. Nope, they didn't pay into a fund, a private account but they did pay in, and it was done by force, at the point of a gun. No Seniors I know voted for SS, that was way before their time and no vote was allowed any way. The thing to do is to phase it out, SS and Medicare both, starting at about age 45, raise the retirement age for now and eventually this ponzi scheme will go away.
To say Seniors drawing SS and Medicare today should just forget the thousands of frickin's dollars they paid into the government, against their will BTW, is f***ing insane and totally selfish on your part.
You may think you are right but you are totally wrong.
I agree 100%! Very well said. None of us had any choice but to pay in and we still don't. If people want to stop entitlement, stop Welfare. The seniors that have paid into the SS tax have probably worked all their lives. The true entitlement hogs are the welfare leeches, not seniors.
It’s not just welfare, it’s also the Earned Income Tax Credit. EITC was first estblished in the early 80’s to partially offset a big increase in SS witholding. EITC was limited to only the lowest wage earners and was less than the increase in SS witholding. Now, it’s just a welfare scheme where individual are given tax credits for taxes they don’t owe on income they never earned.
I would settle for a fourth of what has been taken out of my earnings over the years.
What happened to all the money that has been paid in over the years by millions of people I know it wasnt paid out to retired people, look at the millions of people who paid in all their lifes that never got anything back.
I have known at least three people who retired at 65 and died before they go their first check, how many died at 20 at 40 at 50 were did all this money go?
I agree with you 100% it went to people who never paid anything in.
