Likely GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich delivered a harsh assessment of President Obama Wednesday, describing him as a "left-wing activist who has never yet become president."

According to the Concord Monitor, the tough remarks came during a campaign stop in Manchester, New Hampshire, during which the former House Speaker suggested

Hussein has done a lot of damage to America that only a POTUS would be in a position to do.

New Gingrich had never become a human being. Or a conservative. What’s point?

Newt does have a way with words at times. This is one of those times.

That ought to really piss off his media.
nobama is not carrying out the actual duties of an American president. He is acting as the leader of a faction bent on destroying this country by looting the wealth and delivering it to his supporters. A lot like Chavez.

Newt is right with this one.

In the intellectual sense of owning responsibility for it, as opposed to being in physical and/or legal possession of the office...he’s right. Sometimes Newt makes you go “WTF?” and sometimes he makes you go “...Yeah.” This is not a “WTF?” moment.

i hate it when gop praise obama in the same breath they condemn him. It feels almost like they’re already going defensive - afraid of being called extreme by the media

Newt Gingrich stated that OIbama was "perfectly fine, extraordinarily brilliant and sadly, shallow". I agree but I'm fed up with Republicans calling Obama 'brilliant' or, in Newt's case, "extraordinarily brilliant" when Obama cannot speak coherently without a Teleprompter and slavishly follows Marxist doctrines even as he sees them reap nothing but failure. He's passably intelligent but hardly "extraordinarily brilliant". Enough, already!

You are defending Obama. How's that for a point?

THAT’s calling THE spade a spade.........

Newt hasn't run for president. I don't think you understand how to use your idiom correctly.

How do you really know one way or the other? Hate to break the news to you, but there are many extraordinarily brilliant liberals. Karl Marx was extraordinarily brilliant.

Just telling it like it is. That is, all except for the brilliant part. Teleprompters and puppet strings... when he’s actually had to speak in the moment he’s shown what he is: a combination of incompetence and malevolence elevated by a lifetime of ‘affirmative action’ hiring, spun by media manipulators and money men.
