About 80% of those slaughtered by the French revolutionaries were peasants.
Yep, useful idiots aren't useful forever and then they need to be eliminated by those who found them useful in the first place.
Che Guevara was the ultimate useful idiot. He helped Castro seize power in Cuba then fled in fear for his life. Next he fled from Africa because the revolutionaries there didn't have the same plans as him. He fled from a half dozen south American countries before one of his pals sold him out and today he's takin a dirt nap.

During the Reign of Terror they also tried to install Paganism as the state religion after outlawing other faiths, they tried to dictate how people talked to each other and what they wore.
In other words, classic liberals chopping off heads.

I trust Robespierre and Madame Defarge will call upon me. I look forward to greeting them in a true American fashion.

The libtard left, floating the idea of guillotines for evil businessmen.
First, they need to get around that pesky second amendment.

They also made buying and selling with gold or silver coins a guillotine offense. You had to accept their worthless paper, or off with your head. They even ran “sting” operations to catch people at it.

William Ayers the moron-in-chief's friend said that in order for them to make a communist state in America they will need to kill 30,000,000 people. That was 35 years ago, today that number would be more like 50-60 million people.
Well, I am proud to say I am one of those that will need to be eliminated.

Isn’t this inciting to riot? Why isn’t he in jail?

There is a very good reason why this was called the Reign of Terror.

I welcome them to bring a guillotine to a gunfight.
But they won't. They're just full of their own shit, as always.

Nancy Pelosi is a wealthy business owner who likes big jets and bigger expense accounts. Just sayin’.

Uh, they DO realize that the French revolution was to get rid of a monarchy and create individual liberty, right? The left are today’s monarchy. If they’re volunteering, well, who am I to stand in their way?

This thread was brought to my attention by a member of our FReeper Book Club.
The following verbiage is Billthedrill's contribution to our thread on Part 2, Chapter 6, the chapter that introduces Directive 10-289.
Dr. Ferris suggests off-handedly that the death penalty be applied to industrialists who vanish after the practice meted out to military deserters, but Kinnan stops him. They werent quite that reluctant in Soviet Russia, which is where Rand learned most of this process. And once it started they werent reluctant in the least. For those for whom words have no meaning, death is one of those words as long as it happens to somebody else. For the elite death is simply another of those abstractions that may be played with like counters on a board, an unfortunate necessity no, not always that, but a necessity for the building of an imagined world whose inhabitants are as abstract as the words that denote them: bourgeoisie, capitalist, counter-revolutionary, wrecker, spy. Kulak. Jew. Not real people, merely abstractions. This is a culture of death, and Rand calls it by name. The death of one man is a tragedy, famously observed Stalin, the death of millions, a statistic.
