SEIU Plans Nationwide, Madison-Style, Class Warfare Protest Movement
Red State dot com ^ | 4-21-11 | LaborUnionReport

After some quiet time following last year’s departure of union bosses Andy Stern and Anna Burger, it appears the purple behemoth known as Service Employees International Union, has been quietly plotting its own Egyptian-style revolution. Given the ever-shrinking private-sector union membership ranks, as well as the realization that its political influence has shrunk as well, the SEIU’s plan is apparently to engage in a class-warfare based campaign.

According to a Politico piece, SEIU’s plan (called “Fight for a Fair Economy”) and will reach outside the union movement in order to “mobilizing underpaid, underemployed and unemployed workers” and “channeling anger about jobs into action for positive change.”

SEIU President Mary Kay Henry acknowledged in an interview that the new strategy, which would include aggressive outreach to non-union members, is “a risk.”

“We felt like we were called in this moment to roll the dice and to think about how to use our members resources for the greatest hope for changing members lives,” she said. “I hope what people will see is more of what we all witnessed in Madison. … more people in the streets making demands about what kind of America we want to see.”

[snip]

The plan does not revolve as centrally around the 2012 elections as the SEIU’s political program did in 2008, when it was the largest outside supporter of candidate Obama. It does, however, aim to organize public campaigns for economic issues around “national flash points” including this August’s recess, corporate shareholder meetings next spring, and the debates and conventions next year. Henry was elected last year with a promise to reorient the union, and some Democratic officials worry the change will mean a less intense focus on their party’s needs.

Good. And I hope they do exactly what they did in Madison. They took the mask off and showed themselves for the thugs they are. Half of of them are simply trying to grab as much taxpayer $$$ as possible. The other half are hard-core Marxists who want to bring down the government and subvert democracy. If they put this on display at a national level, at least it will draw the battle lines.

Actually what is needed is someone to start a company with American workers to clean those buildings downtown and go in and explain to the building management that the current company is hiring illegals - folks around here will claim they are hiring American firms to clean houses, or offices or do lawn care so they are not responsible for who the company hires. SEIU strikes or threat of ICE rounding up the workforce ought to bother the businesses but it doesn’t. I’d like to see fines imposed on those who knowingly hire firms who use illegal labor in addition to the firms being fined or sued.

This summer could get very interesting.

High gasoline prices.
High food prices. (WalMart & MacDonalds warning about inflation)
High unemployment
Black Panthers trying to stir up urban unrest
Major unions trying to stir up unrest in the streets

Political debate on who should pay for what (verbal & economic class warfare)associated with 2012 budget

Election demagoguery

Yes, I expect looting and riots in many central USA cities.

I expect that the Democratic party is hoping for major riots in US cities that will scare the he** out of the middle & upper class.

I expect that we will see the Dem's using class warfare arguments to solidify their voter base for the 2012 elections.

I fully expect that the biggest issue on the mind of everyone in the elections will be “...if we re-elect Obama and Democrats will the rioting stop?”

My advice is buy a good large safe or two, have enough firearms and ammunition to protect what you own. Have escape/evacuation options available should rioting come to where you live.

As much as I feel that Glenn Beck is a bit off the deep end, when it comes to pushing crisis; this summer looks like so many organizations and events are trying to create a real crisis.

Sometimes, it is fun to go into the Moscow on Lake Mendota to mess around with the moonbats. I did it for three years as a UW student.

You’re correct, the Patriot Glen Beck has been warning America for years, about this upcoming skirmish. He may get misty and religious at times, but his message about the Usurper has never been off.

There has long been a forecast that the US will engage in another civil war :( When I first heard rumors of this idea in the past, I could NEVER imagine any single one of us going against each other in that way, having to literally fight for our own country. Never.

Now? Not so sure. BIG sigh. Very sad, yet very true compilation you have put together of upcoming driving forces and events throwing us all over the edge into madness, once and for all. One can only PRAY that it NEVER comes to actual bloodshed of our own citizens against each other.

*Nutmeg: Thanks for the ping!

Anyone who thinks SEIU is going to dry up and blow away has to realize that this represents a category of workers that cannot be shipped overseas, and is never going to have very nice working conditions.

“Well, now, it looks like DuhWon got his private army after all.”

If that’s the best “army” the punk pharoah can raise - and it is - he’s got more problems than he can imagine.

These fat SEIU cows tried to disrupt a tea party here, and in 5 minutes we had them locked in a building where they were crying for the cops to protect them.

Most of them are there for the purpose of inciting violence, and then crying "Victim!" when they get what they ask for. Essentially, they are the equivalent of 'cannon fodder' in a PSYOPS/media game, there to look/act vulnerable and pity-full after they stir up some crap.

So far it hasn't worked out that way, because TEA partiers are on to their tactics. We know whatever led up to an incident will end up on the cutting room floor; only any wrong done by a Conservative is news.

We haven't seen DuhWon's real shock troops yet, they are either hanging at their madrassah, tagging their turf, or otherwise sitting back biding their time. Don't underestimate them based on what you see so far, these people aren't the hard core, they are just the useful idiots. Typical of communists, they are hiding their troops behind a crowd of villagers.
