No, they needed a gun and Kevlar vest to traffic in illegal substances. Do you need to be so equipped to drink a beer, after prohibition anyway.

My wife has all kinds of things sprouting in our little greenhouse in the basement with the fancy grow lights - even those awful things she eats.

We save a lot on money on sets in the spring and give away or sell the excess. Helps pay for our gardening addiction.

Your family and mine would get along well. I am growing everything from seed this year. Well, I did endulge in 4 tomato plants from Lowe's a couple of days ago, but only because they had the normally $3 pint containers for 50 cents each! Since those plants were larger than any that I've got to set out, I thought they would be a good jump start on my tomatoes and I didn't have that variety planted anyway.

I'll have 200 or more tomato plants before it is all said and done this year.

“Did you really think we want those laws observed? We want them to be broken. You’d better get it straight that it’s not a bunch of boy scouts you’re up against... We’re after power and we mean it... There’s no way to rule innocent men.

“The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.

“Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What’s there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt.

“Now that’s the system, Mr. Reardon, that’s the game, and once you understand it, you’ll be much easier to deal with.”

Independence police said the Missouri Highway Patrol monitors stores that sell hydroponic growing equipment, and they use those sales to track down illegal marijuana growing operations. That information is what led them to the man's door.

The Missouri Highway Patrol appears to be a solid group of morons.

They tracked him just cause he bought hydroponic growing stuff? Jeez.

That should not be enough for any kind of warrant.
