The birth certificate should be sealed....he was adopted by Lolo Soetoro, that is why it cannot be seen. That’s by take anyway. I thought all adopted childrens birth records were sealed and can only be opened by that adopted individual.

Honest question - what real evidence is there that he was legally adopted by Lolo Soetoro? And if he was, was it a purely Indonesian adoption? What evidence is there that any of the adoption paperwork was sent to Hawaii?

Yes. Once you’re adopted, you get a new birth certificate with the adoptive parent(s) listed where your birth parent(s) were previously.

But the place of birth listed on the new BC remains the same.
