Press, Thy name is Immoral and Immorality.
Lady Gaga says to Good Friday "Jesus is my Virtue, Judas is my demon" in her "Born this Way" album and the press has no clue why this is a problem. They hail it as "cutting edge" and "Brilliant" but they don't see the rampant immorality behind it or hail the immorality with the highest praise.
The Lord Jesus Christ said to the woman, caught in Adultery' "Go and sin no more" and was truth and grace personified. Because He led a perfect sinless life, He was able to go to the Cross to pay for the sins of folks like you and I. Those who follow Him, have forsaken a life of Sin to follow the Savior who loved them more than any one else ever could or would.
When Lady Gaga says "Jesus is my Virtue", she is saying that she knows Jesus is virtuous and good, but has chosen Judas instead - "Judas is my demon" - she is "Born this Way" born to a life of sin and adultery and she sings that others may join her in it.
But Judas, who thought he was doing Jesus a favor by betraying him wept bitterly. He thought he would usher in a Utopia (the Kingdom of God), but instead found himself becoming the worst man, other than Adam, upon the earth.
Lady Gaga and her immoral friends in the media, don't understand they are taking on themselves the Mantle of Judas. The Social Revolution they are trying to promote is Totally Immoral. It has, not only, shirked off the Ten Commandments but made Adultery Fashionable.
This is the current state of Progressive and Liberals at this point. With them, it is OK to be immoral and to use False Witness against Christians and moral citizens. It is totally OK to be Adulterous and for two men in "Brokeback Mountain" to leave their wives and children for an Adulterous relationship. They wish to redefine Marriage (Adulterate it) to their own immoral wishes.
The Progressive/Liberal Press is completely complicit and will jump on anyone who opposes their immorality.
The Lord Jesus Christ said to the woman, caught in Adultery’ “Go and sin no more” and was truth and grace personified.
And the current culture has twisted it into “Go and sin some more”.
That interpretation of Judas is only found in movies like King of Kings and Jesus of Nazareth. The gospels never explain the cause of Judas' betrayal other than to say "Satan entered him" and that he was payed with 30 pieces of silver.
In another thread here, someone posted the question "Was Jesus a community organizer?". I wrote that He was not; but that maybe Judas thought He was. The episode where Judas complains that the oil used on Jesus' feet could have been used to raise money for the poor potentially shows that Judas saw Jesus as some sort of community organizer and advocate for the people and that he betrayed Him because he did not believe He was God.
Well said, they are like bullies in the street, 'come and join us - we will have a little "fun"'. But if you don't we will reticule and beat you up if we can.
The trouble is that no one is stopping them now.
Mankind seeks a Kingdom without God where men are free to do as they please and be immoral as they want, I am sure Judas was no different. His sin was restrained like other mens "sufficient for the day is the Evil Thereof" was, but in this case the Lord let it go thus far to fulfill what was written in the Law.
No the Liberal/Progressives also seek a kingdom (Utopia) where God is excluded and man can do as much (immorality) as is wished. The only thing considered moral is that which is "Politically Correct".
Adultery is the problem. The Ten Commandments have been nearly adulterated away and what is left is what you see.
I don’t think that many Americans care what some hack singer has to say.
Between the Gospels of Luke and John it appears that Judas was just a greedy person who betrayed Jesus for money. He was stealing from the donations collected by Jesus and the Apostles (ie. "the moneybag") the entire time according to John.
Nah, I think they have a pretty good idea of what they're doing.
What is a “Lady Gaga”? Does she make us gag?
I know very little about her. I know she wears dresses made of meat. And she gets carried into awards shows inside a giant egg shaped container. And she pushes the whole “born this way” idea in praise of homosexuality.
Just what we need, another liberal entertainer to lecture us about everything which is wrong with the world. (sarcasm)
Do you think they know how much they are going to be reviled?
“but instead found himself becoming the worst man, other than Adam, upon the earth.” There were many much worse that Adam, The name Cain ring a bell? or that 3/4 of the kings of Israel were much worse. Mainly because the did it their way, not God’s way!
I don't think the concept of the possibility has entered their tiny little heads. As far as they're concerned, (a) if there's gonna be any reviling done, they're gonna do it, (b)they believe they hold the moral and cultural high ground--who would there be that could revile them by the standards that they hew to? They invented those standards! (c) Should, in fact, reviling-like activities ever take place in some future, they'll likely be dead by that time, and unaware of them, so who cares? (d) Resurrection to Judgment is a Christian concept, they don't hold to Christianity, and they believe that the shape of objective reality shifts to accomodate personal preference and belief, just like it does in news reports.
So, no: no idea whatsoever. A major, major surprise awaits.
Oh yes, the media and the Liberals did not understand the last election. Nor the effect of going against the DOMA. The progressives have attacked the American Family. Trig is an excellent example.
The Progressives only change was to tack to the middle (which the Lamesteamers have always helped them to do. But they have not done this and have not tempered their immoral positions. You are correct when you say "a major surprise awaits".
Yes, it awaits at the polls next year.
I was thinking more along the lines of the triumphant return of the Blessed Son of God, like lightning flashing from the east to the west, laying bare every heart, every motive and act of will, and His measureless rejection of evil.
But I'll take good results in next year's elections, too.
