That’s the whole idea OW. Lose faith in the American
ideal and search for an alternative, which they just
happen to have.

Don’t give up, it’s what they want.

tet, you are right and I will never give up or lose faith on the American ideal however, that ideal ceased to exist many years ago. I've been naive. I thought living right, voting right, would safeguard our lives.

But, we've been living an illusion. We've been voting correctly (at least as much as possible) each election cycle; we've been vocal about abominations going on in our Country...etc etc. To what end? The result being that those elected, including republicans have been corrupted so thoroughly, that the United States was overthrown on November 04, 2008. Make no mistake about it...we have had a coup in this country and we all are praying that we can overturn this in 2012. But really, the only way it is going to be reversed is if "we" the people rise up "together" and go to D.C. and rip all the corrupt bastards out of their seats and hang them, one by one. That is not going to happen tet.

A poster reminded me earlier today of the quote in Patton: no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country, you win a war by making the other poor dumb bastard die for "his". Now though, the word 'country' has been replaced by 'ideal' and the enemy we have is 'within'. How are we going to fight an ignorant, vile electorate right here at home? How many are willing?
