what does this line mean? the birth certificate has to be obtained withinbthe last year?
My passport expired over a year ago and I will be having to submit to this Obamunist request for “papers please”.

I’d be willing to bet that the state government where you were born has an original birth certificate on file for you. If a place like Kenya was producing them half a century ago, you can bet that Canada was.
You might look into that some time.

BS on that. Look at all the questions - all jobs, supervisors, supervisors’ phone numbers, people present at your birth, addresses, where your parents lived a year prior to birth. Some people will never be able to answer all of the questions, much less answer them in 45 minutes.
Anybody know what the old requirements were?

I don’t know Obama’s mom’s history that well. I know her parents were “comfortable”, but did they send her out of country five years before Obama was born? She was an American citizen AFAIK. And again, I think Obama was probably born in the US (HI). If his mom was a citizen and listed NO father on the BC, isn’t he still a NBC? Having Obama Sr. (definitely a NON-citizen) on the BC certainly does present a problem, though. It would screw her son over, no matter WHAT he grew up to be. POTUS, or dogcatcher.
No, that means it had to have been filed within one year OF YOUR BIRTH.
If you were born 9/21/1955 it had to be filed by 9/21/1956
