Allen West- “You’re Not Going to Intimidate Me”, Heckler Arrested at Townhall

Immediately after Allen West took the stage at his Town Hall meeting on Tuesday Evening in Fort Lauderdale, several hecklers who were planted in the crowd began to jeer and interrupt his remarks, forcing West to pause several times and then continue once the crowd calmed down.  Police were ultimately forced to removed one of the hecklers from the event. When the hecklers refused to stop their harassment, West stated, “You’re not going to intimidate me.”

Minutes later, a woman sitting behind West’s wife , who had been acting in a disruptive and combative manner by yelling at the Congressman and even harrassing his wife, was asked to leave and was escorted out of the event by Fort Lauderdale Police.  As this unidentified woman was being removed from the proceedings, she continued her tirade and used an expletive to address a police officer, which resulted in the officer arresting the woman for trespassing.

Local police arrested a woman who appears to be former liberal radio network Air America host Nicole Sandler while she was disrupting Rep. Allen West’s Tuesday town hall event in Fort Lauderdale and harassing the Congressman’s wife. According to video obtained by Florida blogger Javier Manjarres, known better online as The Shark Tank, police charged Sandler, who revealed her name on camera, with trespassing after they removed her from the event and she “continued her tirade and used an expletive to address a police officer.”

This woman was a real bush league radio personality before becoming a total nut. I heard this air-check from Des Moines on her pathetic website. She was terribly dull. No wonder Airhead America went under.

I don’t buy the whole scale violence thing. Maybe some smatterings here or there, but after seeing them in action in WI, I am far less concerned about any coordinated effort. Last fall, the DE RINOs pulled the same stunt on Christine O’Donnell at a supposedly Conservative meeting. Three guys started an argument over homosexual “marriages”. The initial instigator had been sitting next to officials of the state party.

So it’s not only the left; but ALL anti-Americans.

How about this......volunteers with wireless internet connection at the ready. When someone is disruptive, let the candidate pause and challenge the disrupter to make a full disclosure of their identity via an ID. Then the volunteers can check their background on the internet via various websites.

The candidate can then continue an aside debate with a known opponent.

I doubt, after a while, whether there would be much of this happening.

It’s part of the Delphi Technique, used by Alinsky and other community organizing groups. When they’re running the show, they call themselves “facilitators.” They figure out who the troublemakers are in a group (i.e., conservatives or libertarians) and isolate them by saying “reasonable people would agree....” and when you disagree, that means you are obviously not reasonable.
