The conversion process would effect similar pixel groups -more or less- the same way.
But they quite obviously don't.
The stamps are the same.
except that one stamp has six "H"s and the other has five "H"s and an "X"!

The AP version is a normal scan with antialiasing. The WH version is converted. Same thing happens converting jpg files to gifs....
