Obama’s Birth Certificate, Dissected
http://bryankeithnixon.com/?p=103 ^

I AM NOT A BIRTHER! But this one is too interesting to ignore. Upon hearing all the fuss about the newly released Certificate of Live Birth, I decided to open it up in Adobe Illustrator and see just what we were given by the White House. Judge for yourself but looks to be composed by multiple elements.

To be more specific to your question here:

Has any paper document you've scanned created a clipping mask?

I just took a scanned paper doc. As tiff or jpeg, opened in Illustrator, I get only Layer1 and ImageLayer. As PDF, I get Layer1, GroupLayer, ImageLayer, ClippingLayer.

As you know there's a lot of variables here - scanner, settings, software/versions - but I believe it is a fact that PDFs opened in Illustrator can have many layers not created by a human. Further, that these layers and layer names match what is seen opening the BC PDF in Illustrator.

So all I'm saying here is that the existence of these layers, as described in the article, does not indicate anything out of the ordinary. They do not indicate any human manipulation; further they more strongly indicate software creation.

"As if preexisting elements had been "whited out" to accommodate new text. "

It'd be something if the "whited out" area were not the same text as the moveable black gif. But it is.

I don’t think this is from a DB because of the edge curl. A DB would likely print from a layout - clean, flat. This looks like a scan of a book page.

The only way a DB would be applicable here would be as quick way to call up previously scanned images.

In contrast, the CoLB is indeed just a database printout that has been certified to be correct. At some point, the DoH computerized their records. They went through all their paper and entered key facts from each document into a database. Now, when somebody asks for their birth certificate, they just key the person's info into a computer application which looks up the database record. If the data looks right, they click a button, and the program prints the key facts out on safety paper. They take the paper off the printer, stamp it with Dr. Onaka's signature stamp, emboss it with the state seal, and send it out to the citizen and cash his check. No more dusty files or photocopy hassles (except for the special cases, like this one).

so at this point are you fairly certain this is all barking up the wrong tree?

Yep. Being very specific: When I open the BC I got from the whitehouse site in Illustrator, I see just what I see all the time in files that I know have no human-created layers.

Not so long ago another RAT President told the American Public, “I did not have sex with that woman; Ms. Lewinsky”.

...Then they conducted forensics on the little blue dress.

This is what it looks like when I import it into Adobe's Photoshop program:

Keep in mind that PDF's are Adobe's forte', so this isn't a problem with the importer on Adobe Photoshop.

For those who say this is a result of scanning it in and using and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) program, answer me this: Why does the OCR recognize the State Registrar's signature and why does it NOT recognize some of the other easily recognizable printed characters on the form?

Like I said in another post, I've long held that Obama was probably born in Hawaii, but now, I'm not so sure...

Cheers

How does this compare 1961 date to the other person’s birth certificate that we have as an example, the person that was born after obamma? Does that birth certificate indicate the last digit of the year 1961 appear to be handwritten in?

Looks about the same. The 1 in 1961 looks darker than 196.

"Reversing it also plainly shows that there is no embossed seal or the authenticity verbage:"

There IS a seal. You need to look closely at it. I've circled it here:

OK, so I’m reading all of this interesting conjecture about the scanned image, how it ‘layers out’ in Adobe, that it really shouldn’t layer out for a simple scan, or it would layer out if they (the scanning people) left the OCR option on accidentally, etc.

I am not a graphic software geek by any stretch, in fact, I would just consider myself an adept user of many different kinds of software.

But, I will tell you this: if I was going to make a forgery of a period document like that, I would get a real one, I’d scan it purposely with OCR on, peel out the information of the innocent victim, and then paste in my own stuff. I believe that’s exactly what occurred here.

Waiting this long to release something so innocuous causes my BS meter to peg. There’s something definitely not right about the motive nor timing of this release.

I am confident there are many skilled and savvy FRiends with the knowledge and expertise to expose this for what it is.

They went through all their paper and entered key facts from each document into a database… the program prints the key facts out on safety paper. They take the paper off the printer, stamp it with Dr. Onaka's signature stamp, emboss it with the state seal…

That would be one way to DB it. The other would be to attach image files to records in the DB.

This looks to me to be an image file (paper curl again.) If it were found out that image files aren't used - they use the method you describe above - then something would be amiss. Or, as you say, a special case here where they went and scanned the book.

Obama wrote in one of his books he had his Birth Certificate. He didn't need to ask Hawaii for it.

What is being overlooked be many folks is that Zero's father could not confer US citizenship on him because he was not an American, but neither could his mother because she was not old enough.

Therefore, even if Zero was born in Hawaii, he was not a US citizen at birth.I hope Donald Trump brings this fact to light. No national figure seems to have the moxy to do so.

I am theorizing that the reason Obama kept his long form BC hidden for so long is because it shows his father was born in Kenya.

Obama wrote a book about this fact.

Says Obama’s father was born in Kenya. Am I missing something here?

He must be a naturalized citizen, and live in US five years before zero was born. I think!

Also, I count 8 scans needed along with the field data. Another reason a document scan, DB and image server makes more sense - assuming they are paperless in some form. They could be old style and pull the book, make a copy...
