I don’t understand why the Catholic church puts up with Pfleger’s kind of crap from anybody, even for a few days, never mind years. But then, I’m not a Catholic.

Good for the Cardinal. I have heard tapes of this particular disease entity. Imagine a sermon which bears uncanny resemblance to a morning on the john after a night long debauch of hot mexican food and cheap beer. That's Pfleger. He is filth and needs to be treated as such.

Good. Let the chips fall where they may. He may take his parishioners with him when he leaves, but he has done nothing but lead them down the devil’s path for years. Those parishioners who are actually Catholics will hopefully remain in the Church.
Cardinal George is basically a good bishop, but he has a very difficult task dealing with all the dissident priests in his archdiocese. He can’t fire them all, or there would hardly be anyone left to say Mass. But he needs to deal with those making a continuous public scandal and refusing to obey the laws of the Church.
Pfleger is no better than Reverend Wright, his Protestant Counterpart. Neither of them is really a Christian. Both are principally race-baiting agitators.

It should not have taken so many years for Cardinal George to discipline Pfleger, but it is good that he is finally doing his duty. How many poor and ignorant people have been misled by Pfleger over the years?

I used to work for a very large Advertising Agency in Chicago named Leo Burnett. Every year, the agency would participate in something called "Christmas in April" ... that's where companies send their folks out to work in "underprivlidged" areas fixing up parks, schools, houses, etc..
One year, we were at St. Sabina's Church School, the very same Church & School Pfleger was the Priest at.
Wouldn't you know it, the same day we had some 3,500 people repairing, cleaning and painting the school and gym for those poor kids, that son of a bitch Pfleger was out in front of OUR COMPANY protesting us, because Phillip Morris was a client of ours.
That hypocritical jack-ass accepted OUR HELP then bit the hand that helped him
Far as I'm concerned Pfleger should've been thrown out of the Catholic Church LONG AGO. He's not a Priest, anyone who's seen him in front of his own congregation would figure out in 30 seconds or less he's the White Jesse Jackson wanna-be. He doesn't represent the Catholic Church, period.
Good riddance to BAD TRASH, IMO.
