They used to! I bought a Marlin Glenfield from the TARGET in Tulsa OK back in 1971.
But then there was also TG&Y.
Oklahoma Tire and Supply (Otasco).
K Mart.
Oertles.
All sold firearms back then.
My dad said back in the day a fur trapper could mail his furs to Sears & Roebuck and order things in exchange- like firearms and ammo. I can imagine if someone sent them furs now.
