A palate cleanser via the Laura Ingraham show starring NBCC President Harry Alford. Turns out Obama’s anti-business. Who knew?
I’m tempted to call this red meat but that doesn’t begin to capture it. This meat is so red, it’s still attached to the cow. Good lord. I think I need to lie down just to digest it all. The clip’s long, but hang around at least to the point where they get to talking about Clarence Thomas. Alford is disdainful, but Ingraham is ready for him.
Update: It had slipped my mind but commenters refreshed my memory. Yes, this is in fact the same Harry Alford who went nuclear on Barbara Boxer during Senate testimony for being racially condescending.

Harry Alford might have an excuse if he was born blind and deaf.
The man says in the piece that he voted for Obama because he’s black. He’s pretty sheepish about it.
Precisely. That’s what happens when someone votes for the color of skin (or curvature of the nose for that matter, or voice tones, etc.) and not for the character and resume.

If you surveyed 1,000 Obama voters, white or black; I would guess that was the main reason they voted for him.

Not a chance.
They voted for him for 2 reasons. He was black (and white Obama supporters felt morally superior by supporting a black for president), and he “wasn't Bush.
The electorate is very intellectually shallow. Most have no idea what form of government we have, and probably have no idea the Constitution should be the bedrock of our government.
What a racist person he is. A complete and total racist.
Maybe the color of your skin was a poor choice.

yes, listen all the way on the Laura Ingram clip - it will make you smile! From what he says about the blacks across America now - and from what my son, a long hauler who talks to blacks across the country every day - there will be a LOT of blacks not voting for The Won next time around.
They mostly, as Alford admitted, voted for him because he was black. And black conservatives have kept their heads down for decades.
Now, with more and more coming out of the woodwork - and getting elected - they have other examples to listen to and get behind...like Congressman (Lt. Col. ) Allen West.
The gilded wings of The Won are tarnished - big time.

No. one, if you 'd listened to the video before opining, you'd know he has been running the chamber for many years, long before anyone even heard of bamba. Two, he admitted he voted for him because he was black - said it was the biggest mistake of his life, one he'll regret the rest of his life.
At least now, he's man enough to admit it to the world and he's doing all his can to see bamba doesn't get reelected - and he has connections to millions of blacks.

Let me say this as politely as I can: if you snark at this video based on the headline and pull quotes, you are missing the boat.
Yes, it’s real easy to make fun of someone who voted due to skin color and who was blind to his Marxism in 2008. Fine, 54% of the nation was that. At least this guy has the guts to admit it and he makes no excuses.
It is a stunning video and I would respectfully suggest folks spend a few minutes to watch it and to appreciate the game changing potential of a black guy coming out now and saying it.
The exchange between Ingraham and Alford on Clarence Thomas is also worth the listen.
Or, you could just drive by snark and miss some valuable information. Lotta of that goes on during the weekend apparently.

For a certain group of voters it’s all about the COLOR of one’s skin.....Dr. King would not be amused.
That’s right, I can believe he voted for Obama for in the USA, race “trump”s everything else.
