Google Maps: Pakistani military academy and Osama compound

In order to appreciate just how hard the US has been scammed by Pakistan, you have to look at this map of Osama´s luxury compound, located just next to the Pakistani version of West Point. It´s literally just down the block from Bin Laden. The city (Abbottabad) houses numerous Pakistani military installations. It´s now obvious that Pakistan was on the other side all along.

To top it off, the Blackhawk that crashed, reported crash landing in the drill square for the Pakistan Military Academy according to a local tweeter.

Also , I found a photo of the area from 2005, The Bin Laden hideout compound is on the right side of the photo:

How right you are. Jennifer Griffin of Fox reported some hours ago that this area is a retirement haven for Pakistani officials (I guess the Pakistan version of “The Villages”). Her sources tell her that everyone knows everyone here; it’s a tight community.

The CIA is a little slow on the uptake.

Bin laden was not deep within Pah-kistan, he was living it up downtown and going to the drive through at the local Mickey D’s.

That commie son of a whore Barry Hussein is still saying that OBL, the muzzie Pope, was not a muslim leader, and that the Pah-kistanis were cooperative.

This is all about the natural born citizen question.

The usurper in chief is no more qualified to be POTUS than the offspring of an al queda mole illegal alien couple living in the USA that has a baby born here

...the US has been scammed by Pakistan...

The US public has been scammed by the US political class. The US govt agencies and military forces (spec ops, seals, cia, etc.) have known about this location for years.

Every single piece of civilian owned land in the neighborhood of this compound was originally owned by the Pakistani military and sold off at well below market prices to retired connected and corrupt Pakistani military and intelligence officials.

The compound he was found in IS currently owned by someone directly connected to the senior retired military officer corps in the Abbottabad area.

Since we’ve heard nothing from OBL in years and years...hiding aged bacon is not deception. Digging it up and making it walk for a few seconds then burring it at sea an hour latter seems pretty prone to giggles though.

The compound was known locally as the “Waziristan Mansion,” because the land had been bought and the huge, hidden house built by a mysterious somebody from Waziristan. And that didn’t raise any eyebrows???

So, what is the US going to do now that it is clear that Pakistan was hiding Osama all along?

The same thing we've done for the last several years that we've known Bin Laden was hiding in Pakistan - nothing. He's been in and out of Pakistan since 2002 and all that will happen is that the US will thank Pakistan for their cooperation, and some in the Pakistani government will take credit while others will pretend to be outraged. It's such a two-faced country, but they have nukes, and so we treat them with kid gloves.

What is more concerning is the likelihood that there are people in American intelligence services who also knew.

Well, I reckon the building of a new, secretive 18’ wall compound next to lots of military installations would have drawn a little bit of attention. If Osama was even slightly afraid of the Pakistani military, he would never have situated his hideout at this location.

On the contrary, he seems to have regarded the Pakistani military as a protective presence. That tells us pretty much everything we need to know.

I see they have a nice little 9 hole golf course in Abbottabad, also. Very few bunkers from what I can see, though.

Perhaps that was bin Laden's undoing. He could have stayed holed up in the mountains but noooooo............he had to buy a mansion near a golf course.

He's not the first man to be undone in this manner.

Joking aside, given Osama´s health (kidney) problems, it is likely that the (very) close location of two major hospitals is a factor in the location of the hideout.

Of course, it´s not likely that he was undergoing treatment so close to major military installations without the knowledge of the Pakistani military and intelligence services.

Depends on where the grounds of the academy ends. I reckon that the big field in front of the Google Maps marker belongs to the academy, for instance.

In any case, we are talking a distance of less than a klick from the front gate under all circumstances. That´s real close.

They were just waiting for the right moment to execute. (pun intended).

The fact that Obama just released a fraudulent copy of his birth certificate has nothing at all to do with the timing.

This is all about the natural born citizen question.

Osama probably compared the long form Obama released to the copy that had been given to him by one of his Saudi uncles and realized that one of them was a forgery. A heated discussion on the red phone to his brother from another mother in the Whitehouse and the next thing you know he is swimming with the fishes.

Less than a mile to the west of Osama's fortified compound is Army Burn Hall College, which appears to be a fancy prep school for the kids of the military elites. The compound is in the middle of a bunch of military retirees. The city is 35 miles from the capital. It's like a suburb of DC like Georgetown or Alexandria.

Nobody can say with a straight face that lots of people in the Pak military didn't know Osama was there. I doubt you can live in the neighborhood of Pakistan's military elites, right next to where they send their kids to prep school, and not be under minute scrutiny by every police and intelligence agency in Pakistan. People had to have been told by VERY senior officials: "what's inside that compound is none of your business, do not ask questions, do not talk about it, and report to us here IMMEDIATELY if you see strangers snooping around asking questions about it".

You're telling me that a secretive compound with 18' walls, barbed wire, and security cameras, located in a neighborhood of retired military officers near the capitol, located less than a mile from a military academy and a couple of prep schools used by the elites, would not have occasioned just a little bit of checking out? Even in the US, much less an authoritarian society like Pakistan?

I´d say the government has a pretty good idea of who lives in any heavily fortified compound close to (as in *really* close to) major military installations.

In my post #38, where I said "would not have occasioned just a little bit of checking out", meant "would not have occasioned just a little bit of checking out by every police and government security office in the area", as distinct from checking out by common people.

Even then, a full-acre walled compound near my neighborhood would definitely be a topic of discussion in the neighborhood, with kids and teens having a lively interest in WTF is in there.

Bin Laden got cocky.

If the idiot had been thinking, he would not have built a compound with a great big LZ inside it! At the very least he should have placed telephone poles strung with steel cables in that open field.

Of course, we would have been forced to use standoff weapons. It is great that they got the body, photos & DNA, plus it looks like they picked up some intel items while there.

BZ to the Seals and other personnel who pulled this off!

Semper Fi!
