The death of a sister of Osama bin Laden at Massachusetts General Hospital allowed the United States to confirm bin Laden's death, ABC News reported.
Officials said bin Laden's identity was confirmed through DNA testing.

I thought dna testing took time. Also, was his dna compared to a full sibling or a 1/2 sibling? Would there be a difference in the matching? And how many full and 1/2 sibs does he have? And how many are male or female of each group of sibling? Are they sure this wasn’t a brother of his they shot? Will they release a photo of the body?
I’m not sure what to believe about all of this. It is tempting to join the joyous relief of the masses, yet I fear they rejoice too soon. Something feels wrong to me . . . though I pray everything is right.
If FR is going to turn into a den of tinfoilers over the birth certificate and Osama’s death, then I’m out.

At the gravesite, it is discouraged for people to erect tombstones, elaborate markers, or put flowers or other momentos. Rather, one should humbly remember Allah and His mercy, and pray for the deceased.

The people calling the shots are inviting controversy, IMO. I dunno, its almost as if, since the BC issue has been “resolved”, they need some other distraction to polarize the masses.

They didn’t. The story’s a convoluted mess. His sister died at Mass. Gen. The FBI obtained samples from the body and developed a sequence. That sequence is what’ll be used for the confirmatory tests.
On scene, they apparently managed to do some sort of testing, either one of the more basic matches, or the carrier had some of the newest equipment. The best reported time I could find from that new gear is four hours. The test was then matched with the Mass Gen sequence.
The fact that they’re bringing samples back for a full profile would seem to me to indicate that they did something less than that on scene. Those results should take a while.
Fact: He didn't and he hasn't resolved the issue of his natural born citizenship. The best evidence is available. It has never been independently examined.
Fact: Even this latest birth certificate could have been handled in a completely believable manner. He didn't do that.
Fact: The birthers and Constitutionalists have good reason to be exasperated.
If we discover this half-wit who calls himself president was part of a half-baked scheme to stage a fake killing of OBL, his ass, and those complicit will not find a hole deep enough to hide in.
This story is so shot full of holes already a third-grader would be filled with doubt. How do you make DNA claims within three hours of a death? This is the first time I have ever seen or heard of an IMMEDIATE BURIAL AT SEA being the only appropriate treatment of an enemy Islamic corpse. What about all of the others we’ve zapped; they immune?
Long form? Or short form? Certification of live birth? Or Certificate of Live Birth? From which Country? Did you check for an embossed seal? How about digital artifacts? Did you compensate for the pdf conversion process? How about digital transmittal? Did you check for photoshop layers? How about MSPaint tags?
