The zer0 administration has so successfully obfuscated the entire death-of-osama situation with multiple, conflicting stories that there is no longer a way to the truth.

I’d like to think so, too. However, part of me says OBL balked, made some move (however symbolic) and SEAL training kicked in.
I think that is highly likely, USMCPOP...although I admit to wishing he hadn’t been killed outright, just spirited away somewhere with a canvas bag over his head, “questioned”, and then given his traditional muslim burial.
